Trump says he bombed Iran

They don't have the logistics in place for a prolonged war.

Does "Crush them" mean we will defeat them?

We already obliterated them just last year.

Apparently not.

We need to step on throats, kill the virus.

We've got that problem now in the US thanks to the evil communist left.

Barack Obama after the Iran nuclear deal:

“Iran will gain access to $56B. Our best analysts expect it to improve the economy and benefit the Iranian people.”

That money fueled Hezbollah, the Houthis, Hamas, and Iran’s campaign to destroy Israel.

Not schools. Not hospitals. Terror.

This is what “strategic optimism” bought the world. Good thing Trump was elected.

Biggrin

I think that's actually a good case study. The Democrats strongly supported it, and there was a little resistance on the Republican side. This one is completely inversed.

I think the key differences are that Russia has and could potentially be a threat again given they have more capabilities than Iran right now.

Do people critical of that conflict have a good point? I think it could be argued well and appreciated. But we do have a treaty with Ukraine after they agreed to give up their nukes. I imagine it was good we got them to forfeit them before they became a new poor state with questionable loyalties in the ranks. We said we'd help them, never said how.

Our military never directly got involved. The bit of caveat there is we did provide some targeting, I think that was a horrible line for us to cross. Aside from that they got mostly hand me downs. Other than some symbolic cruise missiles and patriot batteries.

I'd say the difference here is that there are no treaties at play, and we're using the absolute best of munitions, much of which has a time problem more than a money problem to replenish.

If you ask me if Iran was worth our direct involvement at this moment, I don't think I saw the same threat in them short term to blow through all this gear.

In hindsight, Ukraine was a total waste of resources, and I think ultimately we just used them to hurt Russia. Their fate is probably sealed, even if it's not, they paid a huge price so far.

BREAKING: Oil prices officially drop back below $70/barrel, now up just +3.5% on the day.

Oil markets have now erased nearly 70% of their opening move higher.

This is NOT World War 3. Ignore the noise.

Although here in the U.S. most of us have guns and some carry when they are out. Splinter cells here like possibly what was seen in Austin last night get taken down quick but can still get a few hits before taken out.

Okay...

The awe of the headline has subsided a little..

Now what"s the plan?

Step 1. Cripple government ✅️
Step 2. HOPE AND BELIEVE!!!
Step 3. Mission accomplished!

Are they really expecting the IRGC to fall apart quickly as regular Iranians oust them?

Because now we gotta prevent the Ayatollah succession shit they want to do.

In their minds, they still controll Iran. The Revolution is still a thing. So, are we planning on following them around with missiles until they give up or run out of Ayatollahs?

Operation Endless Airstrike Persuasion?

They need to AT LEAST play this as it goes and actively prevent the Supreme Leader succession from happening... as that was the point, right?

To not have Tehren renamed Khamenei City and end the Islamic Revolution... so the LED covered mountain can go to the Muhammad in Doha...

...because capitalism can save the world with contracts and deals, decadence and gold trimmed marble... and caviar, goose liver, horse racing, and football club ownership.

A Salam Alaikum Amen Shalom.
