"Martyred" is one thing to call it... Yes, he has now been martyred to the weird rapey muslim afterlife.
Maybe its really the ironic torture one, and there is impending payback for all the women he had killed for not wearing their hijabs?
Like instead of pushing a rock forever, he gets castrated by 72 rebellious once-executed virgins daily?
"We just said there'd be 72 of them. We're genies, after all."
Anyway... here's a standard religious cleric send-off.

Muslim countries that support today's U.S strike on Iran: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, UAE, Bahrain
Muslim countries that DO NOT support today's U.S. strike on Iran: France, United Kingdom,Canada
I never saw you as some who pushed that sort of incorrect narrative?
None of the countries you've list have said what you claim so far.
This is a list of the countries who could support Iran at some point and have a majority of Shia Muslims.
Quote: Countries with Shia Majorities
Countries with Significant Shia Populations- Lebanon: Shia Muslims account for 45–55% of the population, with political influence through groups like Hezbollah.
2
- Yemen: Around 35–40% of Yemen’s population is Shia, mainly Zaydi sect.
2
- Kuwait: Shia Muslims represent 20–25% of the population.
2
- Syria: Approximately 15–20% of the population is Shia, including Alawites.
2
- Pakistan: Shia Muslims make up about 15–20% of the population, concentrated in certain regions.
2
- India: Around 20–23% of Indian Muslims are Shia, forming a significant minority.
2
- Afghanistan: Shia Muslims constitute roughly 15–18% of the population, mainly the Hazara community.
2
- Saudi Arabia: Shia Muslims are about 15% of the population, mostly in the Eastern Province.
2
- Turkey: Shia Muslims account for 15–20% of the population, including Alevis.
2
- United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and other Gulf states: Shia populations range from 10–16% in these countries.
There have been attempted attacks by small groups of people on American embassies in places like Pakistan, and Iraq. I could see this possibly escalating.

Hundreds of protesters stormed the US consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, after the the death of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday.
Videos showed several men armed with sticks and bats breaking windows and doors of the consulate building.
At least eight people were killed after clashes broke out between police and protesters according to Edhi Rescue Service. Police resorted to using tear gas and baton charges to disperse the angry mob.
Several people were also said to be injured after a clash between the protesters and the police. The injured were taken to the civil hospital. The crowd also resorted to stone throwing, the Express Tribune reported
The march was organised in protest by Shia organisations.

It certainly looks like the Iranian elites are attempting to carry on with their Muslim leadership and have appointed an interim leader, and have continued to attack the surrounding countries that have American bases with the Iranian president saying it has raised its 'Red Flag of Revenge' and has vowed to hit the US and Israel with a 'force never experienced before'
https://www.theweek.in/news/middle-east/...srael.html
Quote:Who is Ayatollah Alireza Arafi? Iran appoints interim Supreme Leader after US-Israel attacks kill Ali KhameneiIran officially announced on Sunday that Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, a seasoned cleric of the Guardian Council, was appointed interim Supreme Leader, hours after the death of Ali Khamenei (at the hands of US-Israel attacks on Iran) was confirmed.
Arafi is now the jurist member of Iran's temporary three-person Leadership Council, alongside President Masoud Pezeshkian and Chief Justice Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, a report from the semi-official Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) said.
This is in line with Article 111 of its Constitution, as per which the emergency three-member Leadership Council rules Iran temporarily until the Assembly of Experts “elects a permanent leader as soon as possible", according to Expediency Discernment Council spokesperson Mohsen Dehnavi.
The three members of this council will split the powers of the Supreme Leader between them in this interim period.

Russia seems to be making ridiculous statements about unprovoked attacks in support of it's ally....
https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/russ...05880.html
Quote:Russia condemns US attack on its ally Iran as 'unprovoked act of aggression'
As it continues to wage its full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry on Feb. 28 condemned the U.S. and Israel's attack on Iran, claiming that it can help find "peaceful solutions."
"We demand that the situation be immediately returned to the path of political and diplomatic settlement," the Russian Foreign Ministry claimed in a statement published on its Telegram channel, accusing the U.S. and Israel of driving the region toward "a humanitarian, economic, and possibly even a radiological disaster."
Russia claimed that the international community, including the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), should provide "an objective and uncompromising assessment of these irresponsible actions" aimed at "destroying peace."
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov later spoke by phone with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, and floated Moscow as a potential mediator — positioning Russia, even as it continues its own war on a neighboring country, as a broker of peace.
Moscow's comments against the U.S. and Israel come as Russian troops launch indiscriminate attacks in both front-line areas and cities far from the battlefield, such as Kyiv, with barrages of missiles and drones. More than four years into the full-scale war, Russian troops continue to advance across the front, throwing a massive number of troops forward to gradually push Ukrainian forces back.

Never mind Trump just made the man a martyr.
Plus governments have succession systems.
So their power continues.
All this will serve to achieve is to bring about more chaos.
For a loose comparison, as structurally the religions are different.
But how do you imagine Christians would feel if the Pope were assassinated?
