A terrorist nation ruled by assholes.

Don't US taxpayers already pay for the EPA?

Also, who attacked whom?

Correction, a nation ruled by crazy religious fundamentalists "assh#les."

Kind of one of the reasons, it was possibly best not to have poked the Iranian hornet's nest...

And on the flipside, think how they see us?

Yes, U.S. taxpayers fund the EPA through federal income taxes, with the FY 2026 budget totaling approximately \(\$4.16\) billion. While taxpayers fund the agency, its spending is frequently debated, with recent initiatives focusing on cutting specific programs, such as rescinding \(\$7\) billion for "Solar for All" to lower consumer energy costs, and restructuring grants deemed wasteful

So US taxpayers are paying money to maintain their 'air quality', among other things. Isn't that a bit like being taxed for the air?

I wonder if Iranian citizens get taxed for their 'air-quality'?

Yeah. That's what they were trying to do before we discovered the "Green Deal" was a global scam. Trump is in the process of ending all that. What a guy! We aren't paying the "Green Taxes". How about those apples? Lol

But you are paying taxes and tariffs, so...

Same Gadgie, different trackie.

Nah, taxes haven't gone down just because DOGE shuttered half the public service and Trump pulled out of all sorts of agreements.

And now there's no constraint upon all that heavy industry from dumping their crud into the atmosphere. But only in the US. It'll be like a continent-sized 'Detroit meets Love Canal'!

Iran has replied to the US proposal.
Quote:Iran has sent its response to the latest U.S. ceasefire proposal via Pakistani mediators and wants negotiations to focus on permanently ending the war, Iran’s state-run media said Sunday. Pakistan confirmed receiving it.

Iran seeks to end the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon, where Israel fights the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militant group, and to ensure the security of shipping, its state TV said. Washington’s latest proposal addressed a deal to end the war, reopen the Strait of Hormuz and roll back Iran’s nuclear program, an issue that Tehran would rather discuss later.

The White House had no immediate comment about Iran’s reply. President Donald Trump is giving diplomacy “every chance we possibly can before going back to hostilities,” the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, told ABC.

Make sure you place your bets for the next pivot in oil prices.
