Taking a bird's eye view over the Straits.
Trump et al are negotiating, so we are told, with the current regime, whatever that is exactly.
Having read some of the previous posts, it would appear that there is a division between the current Iranian "government" and the IRGC.
The IRGC have claimed they have control of the Straits.
So, is the Iranian Government saying "open" and the IRGC saying "closed"?
Is there a fracture occuring in Iran?

Same as we can understand terminology and words, even if Trump can't...
Again, I was questioning a claim that Iran's enriched Uranium was removed under Obama (that's prior to 2017) and well before the Trump attacks recently.  We all know what Trump may or may have not done in 2026.

I think you may find the attack happened in June last year, not 2026, regarding Trump's claims of enriched uranium obliteration.
But vessels are still coming under fire today in the Strait of Hormuz...
Open is rather debatable under such conditions.

Something of a stand off. We'll see who backed down.
