Nope, just the people on here who are defending Trumps poorly managed war with Iran. People are entitled to there opinions and I only bite back when someone attacks me and not my opinion or article I've posted. Certain members seem attached to 'whataboutisms' and 'strawmen arguments' if someone has a different opinion to them.  Which 99.9% of the time are the same Trump cult members.

See again, You can't actually add anything to the thread other than to attack me and anyone else who doesn't see the Iran war for the sh*t show it is.

After a month of Trump spending a billion dollars a day on his war in Iran, Iran still has the keys to the Straits and is charging 2 million dollars a ship, is still able to launch drones and missiles at will. How is that a win, and how do you think it look's to the rest of the world??

It is for a while when knowing something is wrong, but don't know what it is. Feels like being stuck in the mud, try to grab something, but it all slips away. Just have to slowly chip away until you do find something solid, trustworthy and does fit with reality. These clues do turn up occasionally... as best we can. Carry on.

This seems to be a widespread perception no matter what people's politics are. I don't experience it myself, though. Despite the frequent ante-upping outrages by Trump and his cult, human nature has not ceased to be predictable to me. Politics is still what it always was. We continue to behave like the animals we are, and our behaviour, individual or collective, continues to be quite predictable in terms of our species.

I really don't understand why people don't get it. My best guess is that we don't care for what the evidence tells us when we inspect it head on, so we make up explanations that appeal to us more, believe our own stories and then get confused when the stories don't work to explain what we see next.

Folklore, mythology, religion, superstition, political dogmas, moral systems, psychological theories,  economic theories,  conspiracy theories: none of them have any reliable explanatory power. The laws of physics and causality, coupled with well-founded intuitions about human nature, are all we have to rely on.

Real world experience needs no "actual data" to prove when you are the one living it every single day, and not the one who doesn't even live in the country you try to be an expert on.
