Brother, you’re the one that keeps on bringing that up and virtue signaling that the rest of us don’t care because we’re critical of the war when that’s not even a stated objective.

You can’t accuse people of not caring about human rights when that’s not even why we’re there. 

Unfortunately Iran isn’t the only country with bad human rights.

But what makes it truly wild is we’ve said in no uncertain terms we’re willing to cut power to a desert country before the summer. No cooling, no water, hospitals buckle. So I don’t see how anything we’re doing is saving the people of Iran.

Make the case that their regime is a threat to the region and the world, I’d argue the latter. But this isn’t a humanitarian mission.
