I wonder which country will take up the slack. The annual sales are reported as being minimal.
-------
"France's military exports to Israel currently consist exclusively of components and spare parts rather than complete weapon systems, with the French government denying the sale of arms for direct use by the Israeli army in Gaza. Recent licensed shipments include M27 links for machine gun ammunition belts, ball bearings, glass, cooling systems, and sensors.
Specific exports identified in reports include: - Parts for the Iron Dome system: France issues licenses for components used in Israel's missile defense system.
- Ammunition links: Metal pieces sold to IMI Systems (a subsidiary of Elbit) for joining rifle cartridges, which the French government states are intended for re-export to third countries rather than use by the IDF.
- Electronic equipment: In June 2024, reports alleged authorization for electronic equipment used in Hermes 900 UAVs.
- Aircraft and major systems: While France was Israel's primary supplier until the 1967 embargo (supplying Mirage jets), current annual sales are minimal, estimated at roughly 30 million euros, and do not include major platforms like fighter jets or tanks.
French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu maintains that these exports are subject to strict monitoring and often involve items that undergo industrial intervention in Israel before being re-exported, sometimes even back to France. Despite President Emmanuel Macron's calls for an arms embargo on weapons used in Gaza, France continues to authorize these specific dual-use and component shipments." (LLM)

I don't think Macron will be crying about this.

Look at how many Russians choose to flee the nation rather than get involved and conscripted in the coming war with Ukraine.
A lot of the Iranians trying to transit out of the region and to other countries most likely tick a similar box...

I am also reading that Dubai Airport is semi-operational, so of course these sorts of priority restrictions will happen.

Trump is off his tits and can just fuck off.

I suggest that if he keeps up the nonsensical accusations and threats.
We confiscate or commandeer both his golf resorts in the UK.
Let's see how he likes them apples?
And what's the worst that can happen.
He invades South Ayrshire to get them back?
Trust me when i tell you.
The area could do with invasion and revitalisation.
