Iraq and Afghanistan were going extremely well in the early phases. 

Its not handwringing to learn from ones lessons. We lost thousands of lives and spent trillions of dollars on Iraq when the whole justification was wrong for it.

This admin said they obliterated Irans nuclear weapons program and fissile material in the summer. They made press releases in no uncertain terms that reporting it wasn’t all destroyed was fake news. It took them 28 years of trying to never make one and we’re back in months.

Rubio said the quite part out loud. We went in because we knew Israel was going to attack. We’re not projecting our foreign policy right now… We’re reacting to, and following the lead of a nation we hold no treaties with.

We’re using our most advanced weapons on a non peer nation. There are other countries that pose far more of a threat right now.

Iran almost half the size of the US and incredibly mountainous terrain - it has more warlords than Iraq and Afghanistan with 100,000s of hardline IRGC on top of regular Iranian Army. Two to three decades is a more realistic minimum based off all other recent ME conflicts with a very high likelyhood of ISIS or similar filling the power vacuum.

I think many who are concerned about an unending and out of control war would be far more in agreement, if Trump had backed up his words when the Iranian people took to the streets to demonstrate and were out right murdered by the regime.

What ever the reason for these attacks now, we all hope when the smoke clears the Iranian people will be free to make their own decisions and not ruled by another group of radicals

I'm referring to knocking the missile launchers out, the only country used to getting pummeled is Israel. All the others will either withdraw from internal pressure or find the resolve to throw off the 18th-century dogma and fight back to progress to the 21st century.
