No, I can never agree to just nuking whole cities. We cannot even know what happened in Mahenjo-Daro was not itself a nuclear detonation. Aside from the clear disregard for indiscriminate murder of civilians who have no say in their government's policies, it will eliminate much economical potential after normalization happens. We do not need to nuke anything, except maybe a hurricane for scientific research purposes. I am ok with that, we should do that at least once.

The Earth has absorbed hundreds of nuke detonations, both in recent history and ancient. What is a few more for scientific studies?
