This company, Arcimoto, in Oregon failed in 2023, maybe with the impending recession looming, they may come back from the ashes like a Phoenix.

Is this the future, smaller packaging with less product and a higher price?

Well...

I suppose we should expect to see this...
After all, it is the world we live in.

The perception of graft is perennial... and frequently true to some degree.

I prefer to think of it as people seeing "responsibility"
through "opportunity-colored" glasses...
and "getting away with it" is the cherry on top - for a few.

... and "we" trusted "them."

I wish we could "measure" it... another sad, impotent wish.

Well, measuring the flip flopping is a day-to-day analysis, but forecasting is out there:

Quote:If these proposals were in effect in 2026, the richest 1 percent would receive an average tax cut of about $36,300 and the next richest 4 percent would receive an average tax cut of about $7,200. All other groups would see a tax increase with the hike on the middle 20 percent at about $1,500 and the increase on the lowest-income 20 percent of Americans at about $800.

https://taxfoundation.org/research/all/f...plan-2024/

All in all, the American dollar is falling, taxes are increasing for the working and low income people, grocery prices keep rising...etc...etc...etc.

That is how most regular people do the measuring.

Now millions of people will be without health insurance pretty much the base that voted him in. When does this bill take effect?

Didn't he promise not to touch Medicaid?

To be frank, I don't think he knows what the Hell he's doing.

I remember the MAGA crowd  piling on Biden's obvious dementia.

Yet they refuse to recognise the elephant in the room.

Which is, Trump is mentally incompetent to be POTUS.

"Somebody’s gotta pay for all of this — or at least part of it. That’s where Medicaid and SNAP, formerly known as food stamps, come in. Both programs will be subject to new work requirements under the law, with Medicaid spending alone estimated to fall by just over $1 trillion over the next decade in the latest analysis from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)."
