There’s no evidence to suggest they are needed. They haven’t done anything.

Nothing happening now is unprecedented. There aren’t large scale out of control riots as suggested. Yes, in cases people are going past protesting and committing crimes they should be accountable for. That happens every where, every day. We have mechanisms to protect broader societal rights, and also address those problems.

But what we see is a deployment of troops on our soil, executive orders in direct conflict with Supreme Court decisions on free speech, and the humoring of adjusting or removing Habeas Corpus or applying the insurrection act.

Regardless of how you feel about this situation, the criminals involved… there’s no denying there will be long standing implications.

One day, some one else will be in power with the same tools at their disposal.

We have to worry about putting out fires today, now, or we might not have your one day 

...before worrying about the next President who seemingly can have every action banned by any district Judge in the land.

Thats not how this works. Today dictates tomorrow.

Should a president be able to make executive orders going against SCOTUS rulings on the constitution? Can a president make laws with executive orders. Does the president get to decide the status of Habeas Corpus. Is it concerning all of that is in the same context of military being deployed to states against governors wishes?

These are legal questions, not political ones.

Really, that's all you got out of my reply? Not the fact that the mayor of Chicago is telling the people of his city they can attack ICE agents without worrying about being arrested by Chicago PD? You are worried about my use of a common phrase, without you actually looking up what it means? 

Open Season; a period when all restrictions on a particular activity or product are abandoned or ignored.

Nothing there about an actual attack happening. And as the Police in Portland have stated, ICE have falsely called them out to a few none events, wasting police time and resources.

That is still telling his officers not to aid ICE.....not sure why you're not understanding that. That is setting the precedence that police would not be likely to show up to any future incidents involving those agents. 


Did you not see the shooting at and of ICE detainees and agents in Dallas? Are you blind to reality or just choosing to only see what you want so you can denounce what is actually happening?
