Trump Threats to Take Away US Born Citizen - Rosie O'Donnels

I don't know what hate speech has to do with a president saying he want's to use his power in unconstitutional ways.

If she said "I'm going to commit violence against blank person or blank group", charge her. Super easy, that's a threat.

If you're saying she has general positions, or is associated with political parties who you don't like, and other people have said bad things, I don't think it fits.

Saying all of the above isn't anti American. I can disagree with what politician all I do because I'm a citizen of America, it's one of the rights I'm very grateful for that many people around the world don't have.

If someone supports Trump saying he can circumvent the constitution, by default they have to accept anyone after him can do the same. It's no secret I don't trust him, but I also likely won't trust them either. Give him an inch, they'll take a mile. I don't accept that.

Yet you'd vote for a socialist before an independent.

I know your posts "brah"

If people are okay with letting pedo sex traffickers walk free, and removing citizenship for wrongspeak, you may not need to worry about the other side getting back into power.

"The president of the usa has always hated the fact that i see him for who he is - a criminal con man sexual-abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself," O'Donnell wrote on Instagram. "This is why i moved to ireland - he is a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy, compassion, and basic humanity."

I've only voted for Libertarian, Independent (right leaning), and Republican (once in 16') for president.

I've rarely voted for Democrats in local or state when the other options were really bad.

I think most peoples idea of socialist is anyone who disagrees with Trump.

I own guns, I invest in stocks, crypto, real estate, and most clients for the company I work at are fortune 500. My principles don't just shift with whoever is representing an "ideology". My principles are static, if someone shifts on theirs, that doesn't change mine.

Just because I've argued with far right takes (that aren't conservative or libertarian) doesn't make me a socialist apologist, or even socialist for that matter. It's no secret that ATS was predominantly supportive of Trump, I obviously don't like him, so that's going to look like a stark contrast.

You can keep eluding to buzz words like socialist, antisemitic, hate speech. That's the same tactics liberals use when they don't like an opinion. Doesn't change the fact a sitting president threatening to strip citizenship from a US born citizen just because he doesn't like them is unconstitutional.

Rosie moved to a foreign country because of Trump.

Edward Snowden is still a US citizen. It would be far easier to make the case for him, for many reasons (even though I personally don't think he should have it stripped).

People on ATS used to call for a Civil War gleefully, I didn't say they should get their citizenship stripped, yet they were literally calling for America to break up.

Moving away because of ideological differences with the government is tame given the normal US discourse. Go on Twitter, there's no shortage of extremist speech from every corner of Ideology be it political, religious, ect. Sometimes people's opinions are uncomfortable, enraging, or abhorrent. The constitution doesn't say anything about opinions we don't like.

Hell, the Supreme Court even decided that accused terrorists (not citizens) in Guantanamo still had constitutional rights. So if it's afforded to them, I think as US born Citizen can simply dislike the government or a political head. You can still dislike her, and disagree with her, I don't see how stripping her citizenship is appropriate, especially if she not charged with any crimes.

If you renounce your citizenship, then you shouldn't be shocked when it's renounced.

That's honestly a fair point.

There's a process for that, and you can actually voluntarily give up your US citizen ship. It's one of the few ways US citizenship can be revoked (other than fighting for hostile foreign military or rebel groups abroad).

Did she say she was renouncing it, or starting that process?

Not sure, I really don't listen to her voluntarily.

Except to post in this thread voluntarily, numerous times. You don't listen to her, but sure seem to liking talking about her.
