Wars are generally not fought between nation states using standing armies anymore. Hell, even the conflict in Ukraine is a proxy war due to meddling by the USA and Russia. It was ongoing as a cold war for ages. Both sides do not have the ideological motivation to get enough volunteers for combat, it's conscription on both sides. This motivation 'problem' is in all societies now.
Generally now, wars are fought via soft and cold war.
Information warfare, PSYOP using propaganda, entertainment, 'news' media. Cultural dilution and degradation via open borders without vetting for criminals, drugs, denigration of the host countries own self/values and history etc.
Anyone coming over to the USA illegally especially if they are aiding or conducting criminal activity it's an instant 'out' do not collect Obama-Biden bucks, go straight to jail. This should be common sense.
Anti American and anti-national entities have funded all of this criminal crap for decades. It's now at a critical mass.

Sorry, first time trying to add link. So it appears that Trump signed an executive order targeting specific law firms that represented immigrants in court. After talking with a specific law firm and that law firm offering $40 million in pro bono services to the Trump administration, Trump has now rescinded that executive order against that specific law firm. So I'm not sure whether to call this bribery or extortion. But we certainly aren't attempting to hide it. After the Tesla commercials on the front lawn of the white house funded with my tax dollars, this just isn't what I expect out of my president at all. This is also being reported on other MSM sights and seems pretty blatant to me.

Who said you were supposed to agree with everything a President does...
There's plenty of evidence that firms and corporations were financially enhanced to promote DEI issues, how is this different?

Which is precisely the manner in which the Administration prior to this one acted... only with different benefactors... this happens everywhere - all the time - in (probably) every "political" theater. It is almost predictable who and when they will revert to tropes and metaphorical characterizations against one another. Each side calling the other "traitors" and "menaces" and reverting to the now-tired tools of fear.
I lost interest in the perspectives and narratives promoted by most media... it's all skewed or truncated in scope... for or against is no longer random.

Guess you haven't been following USAID
Along with what Biden did with governmental departments
what do you call telling Facebook to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop facts?
Do you think companies are spending that kind of scratch of thier own free will? and did so just 4 years ago without benefits or compensation from somewhere?
How come so many are dropping it? could it be there is no longer a political benefit from doing so?Victoria’s Secret Tweaks DEI Language To ‘Inclusion And Belonging’: Here Are All The Companies Rolling Back DEI Programs

Quote:Every year companies in the US spend around $8 billion on DEI efforts, according to research by the consulting firm McKinsey. With all the financial investment, time and attention put into advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in corporations, it is crucial to understand who benefits from these efforts.

Quote:The new study, conducted by the Functional Government Initiative and the Center for Renewing America, identified 460 programs across 24 government agencies in the Biden administration that diverted resources to DEI initiatives.
At least $1 trillion of taxpayer money was infused with DEI principles, the study states.
The study lays out DEI infusion across several federal agencies, including the Defense Department's plan to "integrate environmental/economic justice tools" into training, FEMA’s need to "instill equity as a foundation of emergency management," and the Labor Department's push to "embed equity in a sustainable manner that recognizes the multiple and overlapping identities held by workers." Quote:What Is the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)?The WOTC "is a federal tax credit available to employers for hiring individuals from certain targeted groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment," according to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) website.
These targeted groups include qualified IV-A recipients, who are people receiving assistance from a state-approved plan, such as TANF, qualified veterans, ex-felons, designated community residents, physically or mentally disabled people who have a vocational rehabilitation referral, qualified summer youth employees, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients, long-term family assistance recipients, and qualified long-term unemployment recipients.
When employers hire someone from any of these targeted groups and certify through IRS form 8850, that this person is indeed a member of one of these groups, the company can earn the tax credit. The credit can total up to $9,600 for each qualified new hire.
This amount varies based on the target group of the new hire, how much he or she has earned, and whether he or she has worked at least 120 hours with the current employer.
The WOTC can reduce the amount that an organization owes the IRS at tax time. Using the WOTC in conjunction with your DEI plan, your organization can increase diversity and get a substantial tax break.

First I don't think it's A disagreement on how we view the facts. It's illegal. Regardless of what side of the pond you view the facts from. Granted. I know both sides do it and granted I know that I can just look back four years and I can see all the things that the left has done. I don't remember the left being so blatant and out in front with it. I don't like people who lie, but if you're going to lie, at least make an attempt to hide it. If you're going to break the law, at least have enough decency to pretend like I won't notice if you hide it. Taking bribes or extortion by any government official, especially the president, goes against my very moral fiber. He thinks I'm stupid and maybe I am. But if it wasn't okay when the Democrats do it then why is it okay now that the Republicans are doing it. Why are we okay with one side breaking the law as long as it's our side?

What's that got to do with a privately operated law firm?
