Just thought I could harness the war on education. Use some of that Columbia/Ivy League (Except Dartmouth) disdain and get people to cheer for bad things like they do all the other pro-Muslim antisemitic top-ranking universities across America.
Duke's practically Ivy League. Like Stanford, MIT, or Northwestern. So they are also progressive academics. And likely infested with that evil pro-muslim/pro-woke sentiment that is costing them their funding!
And it's sarcasm if you believe it's sarcasm.
It's sarcasm + a genuine criticism + cardinal and navy blood.
Oh I how would love to unleash your magic"k" on the law generally, (or Jurisprudence specifically,) or medical "ethics," or maybe "public" service.
In this case your predilection for certain league factions has delineated your neurosis... forging it into a sarcastic cynicism laser (+3 weapon!)

Trump is upset about his portrait painting:
BBC News - Trump bemoans a portrait of him - but gets a new one from Putin
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62xyrr20dxo
But it's OK because Putin has stroked his ego and given him a nicer one.
Vanity, thy name is Trump. Talk about narcissistic personality disorder...
Blames evil Dems even though the portrait was commissioned by Republicans.
I saw Witless making a fool of himself in the Tucker C interview, parroting Russian propaganda and not being able to name the regions of Ukraine he thinks Russia should have, because, they speak Russian and, they had referendums. Which no country with an ounce of credibility accepts.
Zelensky speaks Russian as his first language so using Witless' logic perhaps he wants to be ruled by Russia?
Clown World. Would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Bill Maher says it’s over for the Democrat Party. So many people are fleeing Blue States they’re about to lose Congressional seats “This looks like game over” Losing Congressional Seats: - California is projected to lose 3 seats - New York 2 seats - Minnesota 1 seat - Oregon 1 seat - Rhode Island 1 seat - Illinois 1 seat Gaining Congressional Seats - Texas - Florida - Idaho - Utah “This looks like game over. The reason why people are voting with their feet is a lot of what your book is about. Taxes and regulation” “People are leaving these kind of states for places where they're not feeling the heavy breath of government on them. It's not that hard for Democrats to understand this, but they seem to be incapable of doing anything about it.”
His mind was not for rent to any god or government, always hopeful yet discontent. Knows changes aren't permanent, but change is ....

I know you won't like this, but your sources are rabid MAGA cultists?
C'mon, you are better than this.
Hopefully?

Bill Maher? I've heard he was a cultist... don't put any stock in it. But not MAGA.
Isn't he the one they coined the term "smugnorant" for?

BBC News - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cg70xgxl3vmt
Live updates: Top US officials shared Yemen war plans in Signal chat with journalist - BBC News
"The White House confirms that a journalist was inadvertently added to a group chat where senior US officials discussed plans for a strike against the Houthi rebel group
Editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, says he received an invite on the encrypted messaging app Signal from an account labelled White House National Security Adviser Michael Waltz
US President Donald Trump says he "doesn't know anything" about the group chat
Democrat Chris Paluzio tells Axios that "heads should roll" following what he calls an "outrageous national security breach", as US lawmakers react to the apparent blunder
This provides some near-real-time insight into the inner dynamics of Trump's top national security advisers, writes BBC's Anthony Zurcher"
Is this not a totally incompetent absolute cluster ****?
Vance is an idiot.
Defend this, MAGA folk.
For the BBC hand wavers, this is all over the news, eg:

An interesting bit:
Quote:At 8:27, a message arrived from the “Pete Hegseth” account. “VP: I understand your concerns – and fully support you raising w/ POTUS. Important considerations, most of which are tough to know how they play out (economy, Ukraine peace, Gaza, etc). I think messaging is going to be tough no matter what – nobody knows who the Houthis are – which is why we would need to stay focused on: 1) Biden failed & 2) Iran funded.”
The Hegseth message goes on to state, “Waiting a few weeks or a month does not fundamentally change the calculus. 2 immediate risks on waiting: 1) this leaks, and we look indecisive; 2) Israel takes an action first – or Gaza cease fire falls apart – and we don’t get to start this on our own terms. We can manage both. We are prepared to execute, and if I had final go or no go vote, I believe we should. This [is] not about the Houthis. I see it as two things: 1) Restoring Freedom of Navigation, a core national interest; and 2) Reestablish deterrence, which Biden cratered. But, we can easily pause. And if we do, I will do all we can to enforce 100% OPSEC”—operations security. “I welcome other thoughts.”
OPSEC irony aside, the bit about "start this on our own terms", and "nobody knows who the Houthis are" are telling, wouldn't you say? Oh yeah, they're those "pirates"...

This seems to be characterized as "an accident..." rather than a deliberate act of "leaking"... it is also all an allegation by the press... which will be carried an amplified by more 'talking head' embellishment and press narrative-flummery. And the show continues,
Otherwise "Top US officials shared Yemen war plans" constitutes a literal violation of US law, and actionable within some contexts as grounds for 'traitor' and 'foreign agent' accusations.
I know they weave a great tale with the usual "unnamed sources," "sources who should know" and "confidential informants"... ALL crimes will be alleged for your clicks and consumption, as well as "narrative" development. But they mean absolutely nothing if they only serve as 'entertainment'(expect perhaps fodder for future misinformation purposes.)
But unless I see someone who isn't a media word-faucet or a celebrity personality making a (paid?) claim of factual knowledge... this exercise in hearing the howls of media productions seem like a weak thing to rely on for facts and truth.
... and Democrat "whoever" should measure their words... because people in todays age actually do remember OTHER such "outrages" for which they share quite the equivalent blame.
And no, I at least, don't "defend group ideologies"... life is not court... and labels are only surface... whatever it is that "MAGA" as a group is, it's not in my domain.
What I try to do is understand... and weed out the distractions.
