If some homeless person is shooting dope on the sidewalk in front of your home, what are you going to do?

Increase labor shortage?
You really mean slave labor.
America abolished slavery.
If they’re such amazing contributors, they’ll have no problem making their own countries great.
Just being here they are a net loss for America in every metric.
The citizen homeless deserve the help and respect, not the illegals.

I was going to stay out this silliness and will withdraw after this question: I personally would like to know how someone who is undocumented contributes billions in taxes because as far as I know you need a social security number to file taxes and if ur not then you dont pay income tax nor federal tax or state tax and the only tax I think you pay is sales tax which is a whopping 8% right? Am I wrong here?

Furthermore, not that anybody cares if I engage in the conversation or not, but id really feel more like engaging if people were coming up with solutions maybe meeting in the middle with the issues instead of this giant food fight. Idk, maybe people need the food fight to feel better, carry on. It doesnt look like it feels very good though....

Apparently, they pay income taxes using your "IRS-issued ITINs", even without a Social Security number.

Where they contribute over $23 billion annually in federal taxes.

They also pay payroll taxes using fake or borrowed SSNs legally withheld by employers.

Which again amounts to paying billions into Social Security and Medicare that they'll never benefit from.

They also pay property taxes(directly or through rent) and state/local taxes like everybody else. 

And according to the "Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy" they contribute around $11.7 billion in state and local taxes per year.

So yes, they help fund the system, even when they are excluded from it.

And removing them from society won't just cost an arm and a leg, it's going to leave you short in rather a few other areas.
