How did Obama know there was a nothingburger there if he didn't go there? There is no evidence Obama went there personally to see for himself.

I could be totally wrong but I've had the feeling for a while that Area 51 is more of a prop or display for public consumption and fodder

I read somewhere that Area51 is for the secret human made aircraft and stuff like that but that the aliens and UFOs are at Area52 which is nearby.  Everyone saying 'Area51' are looking at the shiny object so that they don't see the real object nearby.  That could have totally made up or it could be real.  That's what I read a few years back.   (no I don't have a link).

Obama spied on Trump during the elections for 2016.   
I'm sure Trump is still not happy with Obama because of that.
Honestly, no one should be happy with Obama because of that.

But now that we know Trump was planning on making some kind of announcement in regards to aliens, I'm thinking Trump is just ticked off that Obama stole his thunder.    Obama didn't say anything classified.   He just said what probably most people think ... that the universe is a big place so there probably is life out there.   But Trump wants to be the big guy who does 'disclosure', so he got upset and thought Obama was stepping on his toes.

That's my guess anyways.

Correction: He said ‘There are no aliens at Area 51, and no underground base there.’
