You are not asking to do "simple research and analysis" you are telling me to give you sources of things that do not exist. You are telling me to give you a source to show you how high speed rails in the US have failed when there have bene none because they are not worth the cost to build and maintain. If you took 3 seconds to look up "successful high speed rail systems in the US", you would find exactly zero results. But of course you won't do that because you want to be right so bad that you will stretch every single fiber in anything that would resemble a "comparison" to you, all so you can be right.
The point with this off topic subject that matters is that worldwide all high speed rails are profitable it's a fact.
The other on topic point that matters is that Trump has failed to bring the people what they voted him in for, that being affordability. This won't end well for the Republican party, they will be guilty by association with Trump.
