The CDC changed something...

In the last few decades, research has significantly clarified the multi-faceted causes of autism and will continue to do so.
Quote:“We’ve successfully identified genetic causes of autism,” says Dr. Geschwind. “We're now ready and moving into a new phase where we're using the genetic information to develop therapeutics, and that's very exciting.

The party of "trust the science" just reversed course now that it says something they don't like.

Some of those “trust the science” folks think men can be women too.

Trump didn’t cut Medicare research.
Your link even says so.

Care to try again, or just move on?

So, now we're back to trust the science again ? This is like watching tennis.

You should add caveat to that. "Trust the science....as long as it says what I want it to"

I truly don't mean to irritate you, but I think it might be too trusting to think that the infiltration of
'the pursuit of money' isn't the very first and highest priority of "modern western medicine," almost
anywhere where is it practiced.

If fact, medications that are affordable and effective are 'swept aside' for higher profit medicines.
The western method give you potions and mixes... and there are more coming to deal with the damage those potions and mixes do.

Research is doled out and focused upon based upon the profit return, (in many cases for the research
institution... and academic career advancement.)

Medical Associations worldwide are heavy investors in the Pharma enterprise.  Medical practitioners and Pharma world-wide reward each other for "product market performance."

There is a stink in western commercial medical services... It has been most evident since they took
center stage... it lingers...

Patients are economically exploited... as a matter of "it is what it is."

Computer-system compliance is now the gatekeeper of profitable medical services...

Government-mandated commercial submission to a bank's "insurance" scheme is the front door
of  health 'pot luck' in the US.

And the real tragedy is the people are not evil, they mostly want to help, and would like to serve...
but the system is designed to 'restrict' and 'constrain,' to limit and 'filter'... to "process" before triage.
To get the "billing" data and the e-identity BEFORE diagnosis or treatment... of a health problem.

The problems are there for all to see... but alas... "it is what it is."

Look at the connection between the FDA, CDC and Big Pharma. There is a revolving door of employees and lots of money.
Quote:A petition from advocacy groups is calling for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to stop claiming it does not have relationships with or accept financial support from drug manufacturers and other companies that might benefit from agency research.
The CDC has accepted millions of dollars through the CDC Foundation, according to the groups behind the petition. During fiscal years 2014 through 2018, the CDC Foundation received $79.6 million from companies like Pfizer, Biogen, and Merck. Since it was created by Congress in 1995, the nonprofit organization has accepted $161 million from corporations.

We’re talking “trust the science”.
You can swap in flat earthers if that doesn’t trigger you.
Sorry not sorry if the truth is offensive to you but expecting me to believe delusional people who say “trust the science” yet pushing anti scientific garbage is an outrageous ask.

Morgan McSweeney, aka “dr. noc,” spends his free time debunking scientific misinformation on social media.

Dr. Noc holds a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences and immunology. He is obviously knowledgeable and presents factual information in an understandable and interesting way.

CDC Director
Susan Monarez was fired in August 2025 after refusing to resign following disagreements with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over vaccine policy. Monarez stated she was fired for refusing to "rubber-stamp unscientific, reckless directives" and to fire CDC experts, which led to other top officials resigning in protest. The White House stated her removal was due to her not being aligned with the president's agenda.

The CDC website is largely dedicated to providing reliable and helpful information about diseases and their treatment to the general public. How do you think that function will be affected by this change of orientation? Will the public at large still feel the information  the site offers is trustworthy? How about doctors and other care providers? How might they react?

Does anyone think the website should be closed down?
