The CDC has been compromised.

Oh, I agree. But that's a fait accompli. Rather than simply discussing what we think about what's already happened, I would like to consider what its consequences might be. That's fair, surely? What do you think?

Good.
Their statements that no connection exists is premature.
They know no such thing.

Asperger’s is not a term used anymore.

So, as long as it goes against your opinion, it's wrong, the science is settled and you won't even admit the science could have been wrong.

Do YOU know the cause{s} of Autism and what may or may not have an influence on it ?

If so, I'm sure there's a Nobel Prize in it for you.

I'd be keen to hear what people think the real-world consequences will be – for instance, how will this affect the scientific community? Not just in America, because medical research is an international effort. How might that effort change?

I know one thing for sure, I will never look for or use scientific, government or medical sources from the USA again, where government has a hand or money in it.

It has become such a pathetic joke.

  • Research into infectious diseases was “disproportionately” affected, a new study in JAMA Internal Medicine says
  • Research on respiratory diseases and cancer was also impacted

A footnote explains that the phrase was not removed due to an agreement with Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. A physician who is a strong supporter of vaccines, Cassidy decided to back Kennedy’s nomination as HHS secretary only after Kennedy promised not to take down CDC statements that say vaccines do not cause autism, among other concessions to protect vaccination.  Revised CDC Website About Autism and Vaccines Is Not Evidence-Based - FactCheck.org

One pediatrician in Austin was so surprised by the changes that she wondered if the CDC website had been hacked.

The changes mean doctors can “no longer rely on the CDC website for evidence-based information,” said the doctor, Ari Brown, in an email.

You can't make this shit up folks.

The party of "trust the science" just reversed course now that it says something they don't like.

Then you should have never trusted them. Who do you think funds them ?

Primary funding sources
  • Congressional appropriations: The largest source of funding comes directly from Congress.
