Im a bit of a hurricane news junkie. I love storm2k.com boards, but not sure how extensive thier winter storm coverage is

I'll go you one further.
I do not watch local news at all.
And stopped watching TWC when climate change took over about 8-9 years ago.  I wonder if Cantori is still there.

The only weather I watch nowadays is Max Velocity on YouTube every morning.

The guy lives and breathes weather, and his forecasts are consistently accurate. He uses the same weather models, but his understanding of atmospheric patterns is among the best... better than what I get from my local weather news.

(I'm in the mid atlantic)
Wanna' know what the different weather stations/services/forums are saying for amounts ...

Dusting
1 inch
1-3 inches
3 inches
2-4 inches
4 inches
3-6 inches

They all get the same weather information from the same weather equipment.
These people all  have the same degrees from meteorology schools.
But they can't agree.
This happens every year.
Meteorology ... being a 'weatherman' or 'weatherwoman' is the best job to have.
You can endlessly suck at it but keep your job because you just blame the
weather equipment and the computer.

ARG!   Lol

If you can get past the name, I have always had good luck with Weatherunderground

All you need to do is adjust your location, as needed.

I remember seeing a clip somewhere where the lady news anchor turned to the weather guy -  "So, what happened to that eight inches you promised me last night"?.... Spin
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...

I watch him a lot, especially during weather events... great information and educating

It is extremely good a storm tracking, especially Hurricanes.

Ventusky and Windy.com were developed independently in the Czech Republic.

They are similar, in some ways, but Windy is easier and more in-depth
