Could just be more obfuscation and distraction.

No!
He clearly stated at the totally not rehearsed after party that he “hates to say it”, but this is exactly why he needs that bunker/ballroom/glitzy dance floor/ pro bono addition to the WH.
Plus we all know dude cuts a rug like Kevin Bacon in Footloose.
C’mon man!

Honestly? My hot take.
1. Trump was never going to do this thing. And I mean damn, he figured he’s gotten out of dodgier “attempts” looking sauve and powerful, why not go again?
2. He knows he & the Republicans are gonna get lambasted and a referendum is coming this fall.
3. Israel is reminding Trump to stay the course.
5. All 3. All the world’s a stage and all.
ETA: how the hell is the shooter still alive? Like WTF am I paying second-rate, B-roll Secret Service Agents for with my tax $? Seriously.

I know you wouldn't want to make baseless claims, so you should know this is just another unaffiliated nutter.
It turns out most peoples lives do not revolve around politics, or what the talking heads are selling on the nightly news.

Most people's lives don't revolve around guns, but some people always want to make it a central point like it proves something, while ignoring the MSM flogging the idea of Trump being a Fascist and encouraging these things to happen.
If they don't live in a Utopia, maybe they should have a look in the mirror.

Plus point being that at least he doesn't need to grow back an ear this time...
I suppose it's just another reason as to why he needs an armoured $400 million+ ballroom for protection.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but why a ballroom? Like what is the deal?
Is it a childhood Cinderella fantasy? Did he see it in a movie? What is it about a ballroom that would complete one of the most iconic buildings in the world (after demolishing a wing).
Seems ironic. Or strange. For him.
Like the cynic and jokester in me could definitely see the subliminal “dance”, “all the world’s a stage”, “watch the show”, “I love gold!” aspects.
But if he wanted a bunker, just build one and call it that. How many balls does the president have? Like he doesn’t seem to have a love for The Arts outside of placing his name next to JFK’s.
Maybe I’m missing something. Just seems out of place. And for Trump, a lover of history, tearing up the WH for such a project seems odd.

When democrats, politicians, pundits, like Piker stating that it is good to steal and kill, you get this.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Was it not like $25 or some paltry sum?
