I discovered when learning of this that many (MANY) people would not even acknowledge it.

But then, being Puerto Rican had always carried the burden of being "less attention worthy" as far as
racial/cultural/heritage and "oppression" was concerned.  A permanent "2nd class" standing in regards to the 
'suffering' that was ever 'lesser'... in all conversations about prejudice, bias, and "oppression."  Hell, even the other more gloriously oppressed races, treat the "Puerto Rican" matter as only "secondary."  SO being oppressed as a Puerto Rican only had standing if they Puerto Rican was 'dark-skinned'.  Otherwise,  you are white...

and all these Mengele-like projects were carried out without restraint or responsibility... but only on the "deplorables" and "untouchables" of the world... and in that way -according to them - it was acceptable and "honorable."

Hell... they even got 'awards' and 'praise' from our elected representatives... and their appointees. (As well as enough money and prestige to overshadow any of their non-Nazi peers.)

Yes mate very well said - it's this relative handful of racist, eugenicist freaks that gives humanity a bad name and some of their actions are truly heinous (and almost 'unforgivable').

Regarding eugenicists operating out of Puerto Rico there's some further info below about those responsible for the 'sterilization statutes'.

Clarence Gamble's name pops up - as does the name of Margaret Sanger.

Together, Gamble and Sanger introduced a sterilization statute in Puerto Rico that led to the sterilization of approximately one-third of women on the island between the 1930s and 1970s. 

This sterilization campaign in Puerto Rico, in addition to the medical experimentation Gamble imposed on Puerto Rican women, faced resistance from, for instance, the Young Lords, the revolutionary organization that fought for the self-determination of Puerto Ricans.

Just for posterity (and in her own words) here's Margaret Sanger's view on the actual reason for birth control.

In 1920 Sanger publicly stated that "birth control is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit [and] of preventing the birth of defectives."

The Foundation vowed to correct this problem by funding "established and beginning investigators to turn their attention to aspects of research in reproductive biology that have implications for human fertility and its control."

This was no empty promise. By the time of its 1988 Annual Report (PDF), the Rockefeller Foundation was able to report progress on its funding into contraceptive research, including NORPLANT, a contraceptive implanted under the skin of a woman's upper arm and effective for five years. In its 1988 report, the Rockefeller Foundation was pleased to announce that NORPLANT—which was developed by the Rockefeller-founded Population Council—was "now approved for marketing in 12 countries."

The Rockefellers' Population Council and other research organizations joined with the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1972 to create a Task Force on Vaccines for Fertility Regulation. By 1995, they were able to report progress in "developing a prototype of an anti-hCG-vaccine," which works by combining an immunogen formed from a synthetic peptide of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG)—a hormone secreted by the surface of the early embryo to remain implanted in the womb—with a toxoid carrier molecule. The vaccine stimulates an immune reaction, causing women to develop antibodies against the hormone, thus preventing them from carrying babies to term.

Following on from the subject of 'injections' in the previous post there's some back history below on Rockefeller eugenicist 'Ezekiel Emanuel'.

As American Eugenics Society co-founder Frederick Osborn wrote:

“Eugenic goals are most likely to be attained under a name other than eugenics.”

Osborn himself took the reins of the Population Council, which had been created by John D. Rockefeller III to focus on the threat of the expansion of non-white populations. The Eugenics Society merely moved its offices into the Population Council headquarters and the two groups merged together.

In 1968, the Population Council and the Rockefeller family provided funds for Daniel Callahan to found the Hastings Center, one of the earliest and most influential of the academic bioethics research institutes, boasting many of the leading bioethicists as fellows including Ezekiel Emanuel and Peter Singer.
