Hmm, they didn't teach us any of this in history class.
Dark Origins of Big Pharma: John D. Rockefeller's Empire. Modern medicine as we know it wasn't shaped by doctors alone - it was engineered by John D. Rockefeller.
In the early 20th century, Rockefeller and his oil empire helped transform medicine into a pharmaceutical industry, sidelining natural remedies and alternative medicine in favor of synthetic, patented drugs using the byproducts of petroleum.

G. Edward Griffin sums it up here, at around 13:00
Quote:G. Edward Griffin: The takeover of the medical industry was accomplished by the takeover of the medical schools. Well, the people that we’re talking about, Rockefeller and Carnegie, in particular, came to the picture and said, “We will put up money.” They offered tremendous amounts of money to the schools that would agree to cooperate with them. The donors said to the schools: ‘We’re giving you all this money, now would it be too much to ask if we could put some of our people on your Board of Directors to see that our money is being spent wisely?’ Almost overnight all of the major universities received large grants from these sources and also accepted one, two or three of these people that I mentioned on their Board of Directors and the schools literally were taken over by the financial interests that put up the money.
Now what happened as a result of that is the schools did receive an infusion of money, they were able to build new buildings, they were able to add expensive equipment to their laboratories, they were able to hire top-notch teachers, but at the same time as doing that they eschewed the whole thing in the direction of pharmaceutical drugs. That was the efficiency in philanthropy.
The doctors from that point forward in history would be taught pharmaceutical drugs. All of the great teaching institutions in America were captured by the pharmaceutical interests in this fashion, and it’s amazing how little money it really took to do it.

Rockefeller being a reptilian is purely a conspiracy theory with no factual basis, I can outline how someone might construct an argument in favor of this idea, purely for illustrative purposes:
Influence and Power: Proponents of the reptilian theory often argue that those in positions of great power and influence, like Rockefeller, exhibit behaviors that suggest they are not fully human. They might point to his immense wealth and control over the oil industry as evidence of a hidden agenda to dominate humanity.
Secrecy and Elitism: Rockefeller was known for his secretive business practices and the establishment of trusts that concentrated wealth and power. Conspiracy theorists might argue that such behavior aligns with the idea of a reptilian elite working behind the scenes to manipulate society for their own benefit.
Physical Appearance: Some might point to Rockefeller's bald head and serious demeanor as fitting the stereotype of a reptilian, drawing parallels to the fictional depictions of reptilian aliens in popular culture.
Historical Context: The late 19th and early 20th centuries were rife with social upheaval and conspiracy theories. Some might argue that the rise of powerful industrialists like Rockefeller coincided with a time when people were looking for explanations for rapid changes in society, leading to the creation of myths about elite control.
Cultural References: The idea of reptilians has been popularized in various forms of media and conspiracy literature. Supporters might argue that the prevalence of these themes in culture suggests a deeper truth that is being hidden from the public.
Again, it's crucial to emphasize that these points are not based on evidence or reality but rather reflect the kind of reasoning that conspiracy theorists might use. The reptilian theory is widely discredited and should be approached with skepticism.
Hmm. Chat-GPT got his back.

What is people's obsession with The Rockefellers?
They were all titan shitbags turned philanthropist.
Andrew Carnagie devoted all his effort into keeping workers slaves. 80 hour weeks, no breaks, no rights. And they named much of Pennsylvania after him because when he got old, he got really giving, as they all do nearing death.
Rockefeller and medicine is actually summed up well by Gemeni AI
Quote:John D. Rockefeller's contributions to medicine were substantial and far-reaching. His philanthropy helped establish research institutions, improve medical education, and promote public health initiatives that continue to impact the field today. While his motives may be debated, his legacy in medicine is undeniable.
I'm glad he saw a way to profit off medicine. He was very capitalist about it, but America doesn't want the more humane application of his contribution, like with the many healthcare systems that rank ahead of us, because that's all socialism crap. We can't even pull off the greedy big insurance-loving Swiss model.
People's head's would explode if we took Rockefeller's positive medical contribution (outside establishing the Medical Industrial Complex) and removed the greed by shifting its burden to the state. A single payer, may get better prices, but then all the greedy healthcare companies would lose out on charging 5K per CT scan. And that's un-American.
Only 30% of the country agree with Bernie Sanders on healthcare anyway.

Clearly you need to re-read the "Mission Earth" decalogy. Pay special attention to the "Rockecenter" character. Hubbard has cleverly hidden the truth in plain sight.

Ewww. Sciencentology.
I read Dianetics once. And all I took away from that was, "Jeezus Christ, L. Ron, how repressed and gay and into teenage boys were you? Did you really need to come up with a religion to justify why the psychologist was wrong about your childhood damage and deviant behavior as an adult?"
His alternative to gaslight people with polygraphs until they admit something, is also called "interrogation psychology."
I'm sure you could get anyone to come clear on anything if you hooked them up to a lie detector and yelled at them a bunch. Not really an alternative, though.
And you screwed over Jack Parsons and ripped off his life savings, which is not cool. He just wanted to be a occulty rocket demon is all. Dead at 37.

Well Mr Hubbard's satirical caricature of Rockefeller and the somewhat bizarre tangent into his childhood sexuality aside, there is a very good point here that Rockefeller wasn't alone. Carnagie was there with him in "revamping" American medicine into a more commercially-accelerated and conformant entity. The key document here (dry reading!) is the Carnagie Flexner Report: https://archive.org/details/carnegieflex...t/mode/2up
As Mr Corbett summarizes:
Quote:In 1901, John D. established the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research. The Institute recruited Simon Flexner, a pathology professor at the University of Pennsylvania, to serve as its director. His brother, Abraham, was an educator who was contracted by the Carnegie Foundation to write a report on the state of the American medical education system. His study, The Flexner Report, along with the hundreds of millions of dollars that the Rockefeller and Carnegie Foundations were to shower on medical research in the coming years, resulted in a sweeping overhaul of the American medical system. Naturopathic and homeopathic medicine, medical care focused on un-patentable, uncontrollable natural remedies and cures was now dismissed as quackery; only drug-based allopathic medicine requiring expensive medical procedures and lengthy hospital stays was to be taken seriously.
Anyway, to employ some sarcasm, if I may (haha!), I'm sure that as well as being victorious capitalists turned philanthropist, deciding to spend the remainder of their days bettering the lot of humanity, Carnagie and Rockefeller really believed they were being entirely altruistic, and in no way intended the creation of an industry that would forever subsist on managing sickness for profit and excluding any possible treatments beyond its control, like some kind of vampiric entity feeding on human frailty and dependence. I mean, look at the picture above. Would that man do such a thing?
