I read where he received money from his grandfather, Carl Reiner, so it looks like money is not a problem. I am seeing psychologists opine that Rob and Michelle were unable to accept the science about addiction, how addicts manipulate etc. Others are saying that they fooled themselves thinking Nick was at a level/plateau that would not escalate, so the lawyers have that and that shows them putting love and helping Nick above what they believed to be a science, or misguided psychological assessments that didn't work, which it didn't because Nick may very well be insane.

I can’t imagine being in the Reiners position over the years.  Everyone has an opinion but it seems like they did their best to care for the son.  I pray that the surviving family and friends find peace.  Regardless of political views, for or against, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

His meds had just been changed and he wasn't adjusting on them.

I wonder, if somebody is on meth and can’t get sleep, if this could induce what some might diagnose as schizophrenia, because no sleep would lead to dreaming while awake.

My first assumption was that he just hated parents because they didn’t accept him.

I’m a bit skeptical, and now think he is trying to milk the schizzo card.  New Info
