There will be a few more who speak up as the midterms come around. Trump's popularity is in the dumps right now and the people who break from the party line are more than likely trying to save their ass moreso than making a principled stance. See also: Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Weeks before Donald Trump's unprecedented invasion of Venezuela, Massie reminds the House of previous conflicts America was forced into by the powers in charge for the sake of nothing more than domination, rather than supporting and encouraging democracy and human rights.
Massie then called on his colleagues to support a War Powers Resolution directing the President to scrap the use of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Venezuela.
In this clip, Representative Thomas Massie discusses the perils of using claims of non-existent WMDs to justify military engagement, drawing parallels between past justifications for the "Iraq war" and current drug policy. He highlights James Madison's emphasis on the "House of Representatives" having the sole power for a "declaration of war", underscoring the importance of constitutional checks on executive power in "politics".

Most republican politicians are spineless cowards, as most democrat politicians are evil leftist commies.
Trump is an antithesis of both.

Sorry, he is an absolute draft dodging coward. To claim he isn't just flies in the face of reality.
What is "Uniparty"?

My definition of 'uniparty' .... Democrats and Republicans (and libertarians etc) are all corrupt and all act as one while appearing to be at opposite ends. Equally worthless.

What is "Uniparty"? The 80's through 2010 Republican Democrat party, they worked together in lock step to launder our tax money and sell out this nations future to China.

For proper perspective thats one Republican Congressman
Many of the Kentuckians I know believe Massie is a "douche la rue." was one descriptive term Ive heard used.
Lets not pretend his district, Kentucky's 4th, makes Kentucky a Republican stronghold; his district is less than 1/4 of the state's population. But it is rich and has its influence

It is the richest congressional district in the state of Kentucky.[sup][4][/sup]
The 4th was one of the first areas of Kentucky to turn Republican outside of traditionally Republican south-central Kentucky; it has been in GOP hands for all but six years since 1967. Its politics are dominated by Republicans in the wealthy Cincinnati suburbs, which have swelled with former Cincinnati residents since the early 1960s. Between them, Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties have as many people as the rest of the district combined. As a measure of how much the Cincinnati suburbs have dominated the district, when Massie took office, he became the first congressman from the district's eastern portion in 45 years. Nonetheless, Democrats still hold state and local offices in rural counties.

Isn't that how governments are supposed to work though?
I know the window dressing in the US is ridiculous and catchy but do people genuinely believe that politics is a sports game ?
No need to answer, it's already explained by the fact there's absolutely no self regulation with either side and any feeble attempts to do something result in headlines just like this thread. If your government is corrupt it's a reflection of the people who put them there.
