The department of justice is in a bind.... now falling to and old case decision about not being the cause of a flood of legal actions...

They understand that if all files were summarily released, literally millions of new "cases" must be filed immediately - and the ramifications to the American social order would be incalculable.

The Supreme court is given the opportunity to a) render the original ruling as "differently applicable" in legal expression, or b) Affirm the roadblock to the operations of a truly balanced justice system.

Not meaning any argument to the contrary... but the USSC is always facing that peril, that moral hazard... within the confines of existing law crafted by the staff of politicians.   We are often distracted by "personalities" as the most magnetic of opiates... but often ... it's the angle we aren't discussing that appeals to me.

Some will use the characterization of an "outrageous about face" and others, "the protection of principles embodied in the law."

These laws are not from God... no matter the clown-show posturing.

Part of the 'liberties' and 'freedom' to 'express' includes as it's base, an environment where it is not inhibited.

Whose speech is, however, being 'actively' inhibited?...
Now... because the "law" can't cope (for reasons never actually pertinent to the crime.)

The victim's AND the wrongly accused cannot speak under penalty of law....
that cannot last... and they know it.

My theory is that - at this point - having made so many 'concessions' in lapsed 'action' they are only going to damn some of their own to travel a bad road...
Eventually, sacrifices will be made...
and each beneficiary will know forever more that they are completely slaves themselves.
That is their reality, they built it.
But where there are slaves, there are revolutions.... always.

Look what "time to measure the impact" did to the "JFK" event.
Shall we wait until 30-years have passed to learn what someone is obviously ashamed of...
but not too ashamed...

I do like -- facts -- logic -- perspective.  And I can actually see/evaluate all perspectives.  My avatar represents perspective (am I looing in or am I looking out?)

However -- Christian Nationalists are now part of the Supreme Court.  They may even have the majority.  I find that very concerning.  Belief over -- facts -- logic -- perspective -- law.
