You could make the same argument that Maxwell was a victim too.
Her and Maxwell both knew what they’re doing despite the differences in motivation.

There are still Epstein victims around.

If this is about the victims.  Why aren’t current legislators trying to get as many depositions as possible to act as a check balance.  Why didn’t the new Epstein law give immunity to past Epstein prosecutors and get their input.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act was designed as a transparency measure, rather than a vehicle for legal reform 

EFTA required the DOJ to release all unclassified Epstein-related records by Dec 19 with limited redactions allowed only for victim info or active investigations

The law requires that all files should have already been released

Excessive redactions to protect politically exposed persons, such as President Donald Trump, are not permitted
