The US CDC is not doing the study, but is providing the funds.  Denmark is doing the study.
 

It comes on the heels of the CDC Advisory Council on Immunization Practices eliminating long-standing recommendations for hepatitis B vaccines for newborns. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. entirely reshaped that committee earlier this year to include vaccine skeptics.
The Danish research group, the Bandim Health Project, said it would conduct a five-year, randomized controlled trial in Guinea-Bissau of the hepatitis B vaccine — giving some infants the vaccine at birth, and others the “standard of care” in Guinea-Bissau, which is to provide the vaccine at 6 weeks of age, according to a statement announcing the grant.

How do you catch Hep B?
"by coming into contact with infected blood, semen, or other bodily fluids, often through unprotected sex, sharing needles for drug injection, from mother to baby at birth, or from unsterile medical/dental equipment, tattoos, or piercings;"
JFK and anyone who knows what and how you contract Hep B can't understand why you would give it to a newborn baby.
Other than mother passing it on to baby at birth, none of the other ways apply to a new born baby.
His investigation into this is because he doesn't believe a new born baby needs the vaccine for all the very obvious reasons.
Even the UK stupidly started Hep B vaccines in 2017 in newborns, so not that long ago. God knows why.
There are studies now showing that the vaccine triggers autoimmune diseases in later life. It is this that Kennedy is interested in.
Compromise the immune system and you have pharmacological clients for life.

The Hep B shot for hours old babies makes NO SENSE.
The primary way it's spread is through sex.
Newborns aren't doing that.

I think ultimately 'science' is only "useful' to commerce...

'Ethical science' is a toxic problem in commerce... which is why it's actively crushed.

Imagine if someone actually made a case for a "residual (declining)" profit scheme for commercially captured (but government-funded) pharma (or any) products,?

"Anathema!" they might say, implying nations will fall and humanity will be cast into a dark age of crippling disease..." because to them, profit is forever. ("Profit" being the true currency of corporate faith)...

And we are supposed to take for granted that they own a monopoly on "science" which no other humans can match... because of the enormous cache of patents they "hold."

It's a quandary... in no way getting better... and almost certainly an 'entitlement' to them at this point.
