And what you describe is exactly why restricting comment to the topic protects everyone from base (and I'll say it... partisan) insults... resorting to personal insults never actually wins a disagreement... never did.

Labels are as effectively two-edged weapons.  What you call 'virtue' will always be your opponents 'villainy'... and vice versa.  What you offer as condemnation eventually becomes their pride - if it's coming from you...the worst of the worst.

That's the first news article link that came up when I searched earlier for "trump roundtable". A hysterical leftist hate-screed. That's what was pushed to the top.

Why? It's not even funny. This poisoning of the public opinion must be addressed. Talk about weaponization of ideology to promote hate. Here, they've automated it. Yet, "big tech" is somehow able to get away with lying before Congress and still peddling their vile divisiveness. It has to stop.

Even when I was a Liberal I would never approved of Antifa.  Their radical actions are and never were good for society and even the Liberal party.  I knew a few Far left Liberals years ago, and they stirred public sentiment against the good the liberals were trying to get done.  Slow but sure progression of society with small peaceful protests to help improve society for all people is good, but the left has gone overboard now, and I actually mostly got away from having anything to do with them because of this.

Antifa is not good at all for the majority of the liberal party.  This swing back towards conservativism was expected by historical evidence, they started shoving everything their ways down everyone's throats, getting more radical and challenging most people's beliefs....and now they created Trump 2.0 and that is reversing everything, the good plus the craziness of the liberal party.  This is just the start, the liberals went too far too fast and much of the change they did was not properly assessed.

Get rid of the stupid saying that is being said...you must be with us on everything or you are against us.  I do not have to agree with any group completely, I don't want to even be part of a narrow minded bias group that states you are either with us or against us.  Whether on the left or on the right.  On the left, the middle is being badgered by predominant people to follow the liberals and anarchists  completely. 

On the conservative right, the far right is still looked at as a little nuts but because of the far left, the far right is being considered as needed to protect their rights to not accept the crazy things the far left anarchists are pushing. This has historically led to an erasure of the good that the liberals have accomplished along with the craziness they forced on conservatives.

I am now a conservative and will deny any affiliation with MAGA or the Far right other than I understand that the moderate conservatives need the far right to help keep this country from becoming a place where the far left screws society up really bad.  I wonder how our whole society got so messed up in the last twenty five years?
