"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

Just a religion, they are all nuts if we are honest. And you would be wrong, as foreigners usually are about Americans.
I do feel the need to elaborate if you could indulge an ugly and ignorant American for a paragraph or two. IF NOT heres the Readers Digest condensed version
Mostly razzing on the Brits as they razz on America, no more no less
For myself specifically, in my industry sector, if you can't work with and get along with multiple cultures and overall diversity, you don't succeed. BITD, we would have an associate or 3 kneeling towards Mecca in our storage area 5 times a year while others ate thier bagel and lox in our breakroom next door. Have had many work associates of all races, religions, and orientations
Ive dated and had relationships with people from lots of religions and cultures since my teenage years. Father worked for an incredibly intelligent Lebanese woman; a lot of what she spoke of in the 80s has come true. Worked for her and her family for years, later over 10 years with a company from India, again worked with her father, his wife, and daughter. Very business-like, organized, and intelligent, AH. Many of our associates are from all over the globe, and a lot from the middle east.
