Don't you think the public had him sized up when they voted for him?  Do you remember the person he ran for VP with couldn't speak clearly unless she sounded rehearsed?  

The Left these days wants everyone to have their turn in politics and in other important jobs regardless of ability.  Trump might have boosted Walz's career.

He symbolizes their aspirations.

Yeah, but you seem to be one of those who believe every Trump voter is extreme MAGA to the max. In 2024, some pundits say  the independent voter won Trump the election.

MAGA was, and still just 25-30% of Trump's voter base... WHICH is approximately the same for the Democratic left's extreme side. YES or NO

End of the day, the majority of independent voters choose the candidate whose fringe extremist supporters are more palatable

Nah, it's anecdotal, but out of the 3 dozen or so Trump I know, none of them is hyper MAGA lol even the ones I thought would be hyper MAGA 

Hell, most here probably think Im hyper MAGA when, Im about the economy and just want to see how his economic polices will do. 

The left's extremist influence on the left's candidates and the candidates themselves
