Forensic examiner said about Renee Good

Forensic examiner said about Renee Good.  This is backing up before pulling forward.

Focusing on her hands in particular, he pointed out that she turned her steering wheel left, 'preparing for action... preparing to leave', with her tires also pointing to the left.
 
Dr G highlighted Renee's tires were pointing left so she was preparing to leave. In the video, her brake and reverse lights are on, meaning there was a plan to escape the scene, when possible, though the doctor said that adrenaline would have been pumping through her body.

Good came across calm and composed, though her intention was to leave the scene.

He also noted that Renee's brake light was on. But when Good's wife tries to get into the car at the same time an ICE agent is pulling on the driver's side door, things start to escalate.
 
Dr G points out that Renee tried to reverse while her wife's hand was still on the handle of the locked car door, which he thinks indicates her lack of awareness of the situation.

And a subtle sign in Renee's hands could indicate she was trying to drive away rather than attempt to harm the ICE agent.

He didn't position himself in front the car.

As he began to move towards the driver's side, as the other Agent approached the driver's door and told her to get out of the car, she reoriented the front end in reverse, putting him in front of the car.

He kept moving to his right and was almost out from in front when she put the car in drive and accelerated.

To get from the passenger side to the driver's side he had to go around the front or the back.

By reorienting the front end while reversing, she made the choice for him.

She chose poorly.

That does nothing to take away from the fact that they kept saying "turned her wheels to the left".....they do know their left is the hand that makes the capital L right?

I think you’re absolutely right because his description doesn’t match at all to what actually happened.  It was the blaring discrepancy I noticed.  I didn’t think of it being mirrored, good eye mate!

The policy should be escalation, not de-escalation. A line needs drawn and enforced strictly, or more people will get hurt in the long run.

All within legal limits of course. And the fact is that your opinion or my opinion have exactly zero legal standing. I fully support the legal system in which our law enforcement operates, and agree that it should be as transparent as reasonably possible.

If she didn't hit him I would say he might be in trouble depending on the rules. But she ran for it and hit him. Either on purpose or not. They told her to stop to be detained. Had guns drawn on her. FAFO. Next one won't do that I bet.

Thats how you politics today. You take examples useful for to your cause and ratchet up the war drums to sway society at large.  Its "courageous and heroic ICE dealing with domestic terrorists" v. "The Gestapo out killing civilians."
