A few things to remember...
8 U.S.C. § 1357 Gives Ice agents the right to arrest for offenses committed in their presence Tennessee v. Garner allows use of deadly force when imminent threat of death or serious harm even when the suspect is fleeing Ice agents have qualified immunity under State law The law is on the Ice officers side so if protestors disagree, they can contact their Legislators to see what can be done to change the law. Screaming obscenities and acting like toddlers when they don't like how the US carries out its laws will not change anything.

Apropos: Quote:The Rashomon effect is the phenomenon of the unreliability of eyewitnesses. The effect is named after Akira Kurosawa's 1950 Japanese film Rashomon, in which a murder is described in four contradictory ways by four witnesses. It has been used as a storytelling and writing method in cinema in which an event is given contradictory interpretations or descriptions by the individuals involved, thereby providing different perspectives and points of view of the same incident.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashomon_effect The left has weaponized this, psychologically, as a form of their group-think. Every situation is seen though a lens that enforces their politically-charged interpretive conformity.

Go screech at the last administration for letting 20 million unvetted illegals in and the legislators who passed the immigration laws, NOT ICE, that’s just ignorant low IQ losers screaming vile crap. Funny thing, the democrats are on record many times supporting deportation. Selective outrage and hypocrisy rules the party.

Late to the thread. Subject matter brings me down. No, not placing blame either.
but. Not sure if it’s been brought up in the dozens of posts here, but what’s the story with her waving other cars past, only to have the outcome end up the way it did?

I imagine I might get pilloried fro suggesting it, but this whole assumed "ugliness of cruel racist component' working as a counter narrative to enforcing established law has it's cause in the goddamned 'attitude' authorities carry as their "game face."
It's just a bad and unbalanced as the "progressive" activist who paint every 'cultivated' fear they can and have it amplified by their media cohorts. This really isn't rocket science... From a layman's perspective as mine (refusal to play partisan) - this is a simple "Get back in line to get in here as everyone must... no cutting... no trespassing." Problem is that the politicians and media got hold of it, and now it's a reality TV show, with people who support the ICE and Administrations actions actually making their critics point through their own behavior (not that it would be any different were the shoe on the other foot... both sides love fascism when it's their 'virtue.') But it's nominally entertaining. The shooting happened... the law "might" interpret things differently than we see them here... the Federales will also apply a thick salve of "appearances" for the media to disseminate... and we will consume. In any case, if they don't get charged, they will be sued... count on it.. this is virtue fodder now... angry and full of characterizations and narratives.... great TV! I will flatly declare that my opinion is that this was not self-defense, because that was not purposeful assault... only panic could account for such a reaction and judgment... but unlike others... I have to accept that the position and function provides them the responsibility of exercising their judgement... which was done... I may not agree with their judgment... we have due process to follow. Now is the debrief... which we are all twisted up over. Only a serious dispassionate investigation can or should inform us if this was an excited error, an accident of conflicting consequences, or if the people's distress is to be swept aside with a few words about FAFO... or otherwise ignored in favor of a "we can do no wrong" explicit authoritarian paradigm.

You’d have to ask her…….doh I think she thought she was being cutesy by taunting the agents, dancing and honking her horn and impeding ice operations, as she was brainwashed and programmed to do by woke activists NGO’s. They’ll literally say and do anything they’re told because they’re too stupid to think for themselves, as is unfortunately apparent in this thread. |
