New video shows officer's perspective in ICE shooting of Renee Good

No.
They knew she had been around that day blocking traffic, obstructing and impeding their mission.
She had been parked in the middle of street (honking her horn, dancing in her seat, blowing her whistle) for at least three minutes prior to them finally confronting her.

FAFO

So just to be clear.  "Resisting arrest" and "evading law enforcement" are now grounds for use of deadly force, even when your safety isn't immediately threatened, so long as it's close enough to justify?

"Is that how do it at The Santa Monica PD?"

Now, in the day of body cams, almost every civilian law enforcement officer that pulls this gets thrown under the bus, dismissed, and named in a lawsuit.  The days of planting guns are over. 1992 and 2020 already happened.

Locally, we had an officer overzealously shoot an armed gang-affiliated teen. But the teen's gun didn't fire any bullets, and was actually running away from the person who was. He was shot by the first responding officer thinking the teen was the one shooting and trying to run away from the scene.

He is no longer with the department and the settlement was 30 million to the family of the teen.

Federal law enforcement should not be exempt from civilian oversight, and internal affairs. If the DHS had any integrity, they'd turn over the case over to another Federal Agency, like most Police Departments do in their officer shootings.

No, just don't try to run over law enforcement.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

That's Trump's, The DHS's, and your opinion of events. In that order.  "She was trying to run them over."

And to do this, she backs up slightly, then turns to the right, back toward the center of the street? How is that going to help you run over someone to the front left of you? Especially to do the initial back-up so non-aggressively?

That says she's trying to go around them and get away.  UNLESS you live a complete alternate reality of infallible righteousness on par with crusaders, which i suspect many do...

For everyone else. Her crime is observably "evading" and "resisting" (at most) and not attempted vehicular homicide, and you need to subvert both psychology, and a large part of observable reality to hold that view.

At least in my reality. Which i hold to be closer than yours.

And its the great viral rorschach test of which one you belong to.

Please tell me where it is codified as a right for one human being to kill another.

Her intent is irrelevant and assumed.
Why?
She did in fact hit him.
That’s why she was shot.

Now for my opinion…
I don’t believe she actually wanted to kill him with her vehicle.
I think she was “high on her own supply” (lefty ideology) and her partner yells “drive baby drive”.
She chose poorly.
I also believe that that cop didn’t want to kill anybody and now has to live with the fact that she made him do it.

It's nice you defend criminals so well.

Why don't you defend Trump as well?

Or do you consider him guilty before any evidence.

Show me where I defended her.
