I apologize if anyone believed that what I said was in reference to the rightness or wrongness of anyone's actions.
But I am admittedly, sometimes hypercritical when people make and use intensely graphic imagery adjacent to a discussion when it actually adds nothing to the discussion...
That picture set was crafted to isolate moments when someone makes faces...
people make faces all day every day, and if captured and collected for "curation," you can be made to look pretty offensive yourself... or me.. or anyone... so it is then a base "think of this when you think of her" call-out that isn't only pointedly biased, it will engender defenses it needn't engender for the discussion...
I imagine some chagrin when we discovered it wasn't a collage of images of Cook at all.
We're arguing about whether Cook did or didn't do anything that merits her death.
At worst, that's a jury's job, at best a judge's... we have process and safeguards to ensure it there was fault it is identified and dealt with.
No need to get into the activism everybody seems to drift towards... it serves no purpose... this isn't a stage, we're not customers, or zealots... it's not a win-lose argument everywhere we go.
