Name a book you want made into a movie

I think Peter Jackson was trying to work with the Tolkien Estate on trying to get the rights to do a movie, or maybe an HBO mini series like Chernobyl or Band of Brothers. I honestly think the mini series would be the way to go.

The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers.  A cable movie, or series.

Anything that has to do with the Warhammer 40K universe. The Horus Heresy to start I would guess. There are so many though. I think most people, without knowing the lore, would be confused.

I'm still learning the lore and I have a looooong way to go.

That would be great but I think it'd have to be a one off standalone with a good 30 minutes of lore setting.

I myself read through the Eisenhorn books and got about 27 books deep into the Horus Heresy before I had to take a break.

That break started about a year ago, lol.

The lore is too deep and rich to try cramming into a 2 to  2 1/2 hour movie. A series would be awesome or better yet a series of movies.
