Lefties proven (again) to tend smarter than right-wingers

Yes, yes.  But apart from all that, what have Lefties ever done for us?  Spin
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...

There are many diverse spectrum of political beliefs on the left and on the right so lumping all those even slightly left of centre as being evil leftist commies, America haters, who want to destroy America seems, to put it mildly, to be a little simplistic and frankly silly.

It always amazes me that the Right states the Left is about control.

When they’re like Mad Max survival of the “fittest”. My way or the highway.

That may have been true at one time, but these are not Kennedy Democrats anymore.

I've heard many say " I didn't leave the Democrats, they left me". Even James Carville, one of the biggest Democrat strategists, has said the Left has lost the message. Democrats fought for the little guy in the mid 1930s and accomplished many things, but the Democrats of today are just off the rails.

Lol   Those were Kennedy Democrats.  Way back when.   That's when I used to be a Democrat.    But Democrats went bat crap crazy.   They aren't that anymore.    If Kennedy were alive today the Democrats would reject him and he'd be a Republican.    Now Democrats bring us men who pretend to be women and 'no borders' as well as no rule of law.

The Biden administration issued no policies that opened the border.

In fact, what about the wall that Trump had built to 'keep them out', and that the Biden administration continued to expand?

Not only did Trump not stop them, there were 2.4 million undocumented border crossings during Trump's first administration, despite the new sections of wall, and despite closing down legal migratory crossings.

Do you think that those 2.4 million that crossed the Southern border illegally during the 2017-2020 Trump administration had stopped anywhere to confirm their medical status?

So, the vaccine was mandatory in the US, but somehow only 75-78% of US citizens are vaccinated, even today, 7 years down the track?

He didn't let them in. They came in illegally, remember?

You seem to believe several clearly contradictory things.

Stop with the gaslighting.

Quote:On his first day in office, President Joe Biden issued a proclamation to halt construction of the U.S.-Mexico border wall, declaring that "no more American taxpayer dollars be diverted to construct a border wall". This action formally ended the national emergency declaration that allowed for funding the project under the previous administration.

  • Initial Pause (2021): Biden signed an executive order on Jan. 20, 2021, halting construction and ordering a review of the funds.
  • Contract Cancellation: In April 2021, the Pentagon announced it would cancel all border wall projects funded by defense money.

He didn't have to declare an open border, he just didn't enforce the laws already in place and even reversed some of them.

Quote:The decision to open the border was a policy choice made by Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. The American public saw glimpses of his future policies in late 2019 and 2020. During a presidential primary campaign debate in 2019, Joe Biden said he would “make sure…we immediately surge to the border all those people that are seeking asylum. They deserve to be heard. That’s who we are. We’re a nation that says if you want to flee and you’re fleeing oppression, you should come.”1
Karl Salzmann, “Flashback: Biden Tells Migrants to ‘Surge to the Border,’” Washington Free Beacon, May 10, 2023, https://freebeacon.com/biden-administrat...he-border/ (accessed March 16, 2025).

In January 2020, Biden tweeted that he would end the Remain in Mexico program on day one.2Joe Biden, X, Jan. 29, 2020, https://x.com/JoeBiden/status/1222691999...story.html (accessed March 21, 2025).

In an August 2020 media interview, Biden said, “There will not be another foot of wall constructed [by] my administration.”3Barbara Sprunt, “Biden Would End Border Wall Construction, But Wouldn’t Tear Down Trump’s Additions,” NPR, August 5, 2020, https://www.npr.org/2020/08/05/899266045...-additions (accessed March 16, 2025).

Then, once Biden was sworn in as President, he wasted no time unleashing his open border agenda. On the first day of his Administration, Biden began halting effective immigration enforcement and anti-fraud measures. His orders included stopping construction of the border wall system, ending enrollments of aliens in the effective anti–asylum fraud Remain in Mexico program, ordering that no deportations would occur for the first 100 days of his Administration, and revoking President Trump’s executive order and presidential memorandum ordering the collection of citizenship information during the decennial Census and exclusion of illegal aliens from the Census apportionment of Members of the U.S. House of Representatives.4

Every time a big church opened its doors in spite of an epidemic, every sports event during the epidemic, every time I saw shopper crowds at Walmart (I quit shopping there), every big party or family gathering, every announcement of a teacher's death (here in Texas, schools opened early in the pandemic) -- I grieved for the ones lost.

Every time a friend who couldn't get the vaccine died, I grieved.

No one I know who went to church (church is very popular in my state), went to a concert, most of us didn’t wear a mask, none of us died, I shopped at Walmart without a mask, got a lot of looks but I refused to participate in your Halloween experiment and my state which is above you didn’t have all the BS regulations a lot of states did.  We faired in the bottom half of the country as far as deaths.  Your fear mongering is ridiculous and very untrue in my fairly large circle of friends, we weren’t dropping dead left and right as you make it sound.

Funny that the left didn’t have a problem with potato head letting in 100’s of thousands of unvaxxed illegas.  I heard no whining from the left about that……..
Nope, didn’t comply to their BS demands.[Image: bekbGJF.png]

So, the closed border and border wall still didn't stop 2.4 million from entering the country illegally, and you think it is a good idea to keep throwing public money at it?

Doesn't matter what kind of fence you have if someone leaves the gates open and Democrats fought Trump tooth and nail against his border policies.

You know as well as I do there was a massive influx of illegals during Biden's term and it was done on purpose.
