Lefties proven (again) to tend smarter than right-wingers

They are the Pakleds of Earth.

I mean this in no way as an insult but the truth hurts sometimes.

When a group must announce how smart they are, what is the point. No one noticed.

It's a meme somewhere but I liked it.

It goes;

A smart man never has prove he's smart
A brave man never has to prove he's brave
A strong man never has to prove he's strong

From the OP's quoted article, emphasis added:

"We found both IQ and polygenic scores significantly predicted all six of our political scales. Polygenic scores predicted social liberalism and lower authoritarianism, within-families. Intelligence was able to significantly predict social liberalism and lower authoritarianism, within families, even after controlling for socioeconomic variables. Our findings may provide the strongest causal inference to date of intelligence directly affecting political beliefs."

The left is strongly trying to control debate now as always.  They want "lower authoritarianism" for themselves when they are trying to change things.  That's just because things aren't the way the left wants yet.

Pretending to tolerate a variety of voices and opinions may not be so much an indicator of actual intelligence as a requirement for cooperation.  Some spiritual authors feel sin creates rapport.  What if all the IQ tests and academic achievements are being influenced by some form of psychic rapport?

Conservatives: haven't you ever felt when hearing about the latest leftist issue that "if it's a bit silly, they like it?"  That's precisely the point.  They know they may find fellow rapport seekers among whatever special interest is making itself known if the issue looks like its proponents may need help cheating on their exams.

But did he, though?

The Biden administration issued no policies that opened the border.

In fact, what about the wall that Trump had built to 'keep them out', and that the Biden administration continued to expand?

Not only did Trump not stop them, there were 2.4 million undocumented border crossings during Trump's first administration, despite the new sections of wall, and despite closing down legal migratory crossings.

Quote:with no proof of vaccinations either.

Do you think that those 2.4 million that crossed the Southern border illegally during the 2017-2020 Trump administration had stopped anywhere to confirm their medical status?

Quote:U.S. citizens had to have proof { show me ze papers ! } just to go out, but Biden let illegals come in and a Covid vaccine was optional, not mandatory.

So, the vaccine was mandatory in the US, but somehow only 75-78% of US citizens are vaccinated, even today, 7 years down the track?

He didn't let them in. They came in illegally, remember?

Quote:Lock down Americans while people with no vaccine got shipped all over the country.

You seem to believe several clearly contradictory things.

From Wikipedia:
The immigration policy Joe Biden initially focused on reversing many of the immigration policies of the previous Trump administration. During his first day in office, Biden unveiled the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 and reversed many of Trump's policies on immigration, such as halting the construction of the Mexico–United States border wall, travel ban, and signed an executive order to reaffirm protections for DACA recipients. The Biden administration and Department of Homeland Security, under leadership of Alejandro Mayorkas, reined in deportation practices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), prioritizing national security and violent crime concerns over petty and nonviolent offenses.

Between January 2021 and January 2024, US Border Patrol confirmed more than 7.2 million illegal migrants trying to cross the US-Mexico border, not counting gotaways. 2023 was a record year with over 2.5 million encounters. Biden faced criticism from immigrant advocates for extending Title 42, a Trump administration border restriction that arose due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as restarting the use of "expedited removal" of certain Central American families. In January 2023, Biden announced a humanitarian parole program to increase the admission of immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, while also announcing that his administration would crack down on those who fail to use the plan's legal pathway and strengthen border security. Nearly 530,000 migrants took advantage of the parole program as of August 2024. Biden also launched the CBP One app in January 2023 to allow migrants to schedule asylum appointments online, which has been used by 813,000 people as of August 2024. In May 2023, the Biden Administration approved sending 1,500 more troops to the U.S.-Mexico border following Title 42's expiration.

So, those 7.2 million were actually the ones that Biden intercepted, not the ones who successfully entered the US illegally.

Those who 'got away' were the ones who successfully illegally entered the country, and you aren't counting them? Why?

Did Trump un-reverse them when he got back in, or had he moved on to other stuff?

You do realize that Trump, like certain other despots, had to convince you that some other peoples were your enemies and somehow only he could save you from their (non-existent) threats. You still haven't twigged yet.

The indigenous peoples of the Americas were neither Europeans nor Africans. And North America moved its borders over existing South American territory.

Are you even really, truly, American, or are you an illegal and an invader?

Bother to research your own point.

It could only look that way to you if you hadn't bothered to research your point. It's been an issue during most of our lives. What actually may have happened is wealthy sponsors shifted the left into supporting illegal immigration. No one just woke up one day in 2015 and let some dictator convince them.

59% of California's voters supported Proposition 187 in 1994.

What's wrong with controlled and limited immigration?

So what? Their ancestors didn't do the same? How many different new countries do they get to fill up and ruin?

Not when sacrifices are mandated by the state.

Be nice if someone on the MAGA right might define what an evil Commie lefty might actually be?

There are many diverse spectrum of political beliefs on the left and on the right so lumping all those even slightly left of centre as being evil leftist commies, America haters, who want to destroy America seems, to put it mildly, to be a little simplistic and frankly silly.
