If he wouldn’t have doubled down on misinformation.  That dumb discussion made it better for the company to let him go and payout his contract than keep opening the company up to lawsuits.

However a business decision by Disney to suspend a show that is tanking and losing 60 markets in one day is just that .. At my place of employment we are not allowed to show any political affiliation.  If we do, we can be fired.  I understand this and don't.  If I did, I could not then come back tomorrow and whine that I had been fired.  I know what my contract contains and act accordingly.  Don't be a Jimmy

You never quite explain that.  As an employee, where his employer pays for his show which is regulated by the FCC and had an obligation to protect investors.  How is Kimmel’s doubling down on misinformation and Kimmel’s getting fired because he was going to double down on misinformation causing affiliates to jump ship violating his freedom speech when he is more than allowed to make his case “the shooter was one of the MAGA gang” but hasn’t.
