But they aren't detaining criminals, they are detaining undocumented workers most that have been here contributing to the economy and society for up to a couple decades.

Trump said it himself, they will be released and it will take years of your taxpayer dollar to figure it all out.

I don't think we here are at each others' throats, I think it's just discussion except some here do get triggered, but that's their problem.

The shit that is worrisome is Trump sending in military troops into cities. One marine said that if a police officer says "cover me" that means to him to start shooting live ammo or rather in the heat of the moment he will revert or fall back naturally to his military training.

ICE had legal warrants against those "innocent" illegals, some for murder, sex trafficking, drug trafficking.  If they found other illegals in their arrests, then these folks got picked up also.

If you don't want to get arrested by ICE, either don't be an illegal or stay away from gang and cartel members.

I was watching ABC TV in Los Angeles, and they interviewed an immigrant attorney advocate, who suggested the same thing stay away from known criminals to keep from getting caught up in a bust, and if you are illegal, get your paperwork on how long you have been here, and if you are gainfully employed, pay taxes etc. and have no priors 

BECAUSE lawyers will be fighting to try and make sure everyone gets some kind of review or adjudication, with the numbers involved, those with clean records and employed might get rubber-stamped 

All of this can be used when you have to plead your case for why you are here and what your current status is, and you can return.
