Trump did not remove himself from the Trump Organization.  He still retains ownership of it. He stepped down as manager of it and lets his son run it on a day to day basis. That means he makes money on it when the Organization makes money. Most ethics lawyers say it also doesn’t really remove the conflict of interest issues when a close family member is the one running the business. Historically, Presidents have put their estate management into blind trusts for the duration of their term to remove any appearance of conflict of interest. Trump, as usual, takes performative actions to give the appearance he’s following norms, while actually doing the opposite.

To be honest, he would probably be better off putting his estate in a blind trust, since his masterful business deals rarely yield more return in the long run than if he had simply put his money in a professionally managed fund.

The Independent and NBC News have both reported that the phones on offer appear to be refurbished mainstream models rather than the “golden” handset originally promised. Quelle surprise.

But according to The Independent, the firm has yet to deliver such a device and has instead listed older Apple and Samsung phones at inflated prices. One model was reportedly sold for $225 more than its Amazon listing.

This prompts the thought: Are “real Americans” just the Trump family’s definition of easy prey?

Customers were at one point told to expect delivery on November 13, before the date moved to early December. As of December 6, NBC News confirmed it still had not received the device.
One online critic referenced NBC’s findings while calling the scheme a “scam,” adding, “They ordered a phone and paid the required $100 deposit, but the company keeps changing the release date now.”

Back in June, Trump Mobile stated the T1 would ship in August and stressed that both call centres and manufacturing would be based in the United States.
Those claims have since been diluted or removed, with NBC News noting that references to “Made in the USA” disappeared from the company’s platforms.

Well, it sure looks like the Trump phone is looking to be more like a grift than an American made gift!!

I don’t have a problem with it, after all he is and will always be a businessman.   I’m sure the left will have a tizzy and spin it as the spawn of satan but that’s par for course.

Jared Kushner has been racking up billions in the Middle East while being part of official US talks in the region.

Him, and Middle East Sovereign Wealth Funds are trying to back a Paramount buy of Warner Bro Studios. They lost their bid to Netflix, and Trump said he is personally going to get involved noting he doesn't want Netflix to win.

So are we using former administrations on justification for this type of behavior? Because honestly, I've disliked every admin in my lifetime, and we keep getting people campaigning calling all of the shenanigans out. They got voted in because people were pissed with elected officials cashing in. 

And this isn't the only instance of this admin doing things that so many Americans were livid about.

• Prices on everyday stuff going up, said he'd fix it on day one - Gas is down, but a lot of other things are just as expensive as a year ago. And his next fed chair is certainly going to reduce interest rates which will stir up inflation again
  
• No new wars, America is going to focus on itself.... 
  

At this point, what are they even doing differently? I won't sit here and say he's hitler or the worst we've ever had. But the best anyone else can say is he's like the rest of them. Cool, we're back at square one.
