There is a law against putting living people on stamps in the USA.
But apparently it's legal to put living people on legal tender coins.
For the 250th Birthday of the USA, a 1$ coin may be coming out
with Trumps image on it, with his fist raised in the 'fight, fight, fight' pose.
Looks like it's legal tender, that you can use shopping, or you can collect them.
No word on how the Treasury Dept decided on this particular image.
No this isn't Trumps usual grifting. This is legal US tender.
FTR ... I'm against living people being put on coins, dollars, or stamps.
Well ... this should 'feed the beast'.

US Treasury Planning to Mint 1$ Coins with Trumps Image for USA 250th Birthday
Quote:The Treasury Department is considering a plan to mint new $1 coins bearing President Donald Trump's image as part of a push to commemorate the 250th anniversary of America's founding, FOX Business has learned
"While a final $1 dollar coin design has not yet been selected to commemorate the United States' semiquincentennial, this first draft reflects well the enduring spirit of our country and democracy, even in the face of immense obstacles. We look forward to sharing more soon," the statement continued.
The draft image depicts Trump in front of an American flag with his fist raised and bears a resemblance to the widely-circulated picture of Trump reacting to being wounded in the ear during an assassination attempt last year in Pennsylvania as he was escorted off the stage by Secret Service agents.
The Treasury Department has the legal authority to mint $1 collectable coins including for occasions such as next year's observance of the U.S. semiquincentennial.
