Do you think non-violent people will be targeted? Or just the angry ones throwing shit at ICE facilities?

Will there be line of discretion drawn based on the actions and behavior of the protest? 

No catch-alls? 

Will the majority of non-violent antifascism-inspired (No Kings style) rallies still be allowed? 

Will we still be allowed our snowflakehood?

I think the line is someplace like with any conspiracy charge. Someone has to take "demonstratable" aktion towards furthering the conspiracy, not just talk about it. Handing over the cash to a hit man with a picture of your husband, rather than just saying you want to hire one.... 

To me, getting the ANTIFA group text with language like, "we're gonna go stop ...." (a legal activity or to deprive someone of their civil rights, even their free speech)  So, the bar might be much lower than we realize.

That was my instant thought too.

But I received assurances from everyone here this means i can still have antifascist ideals and express an opinion that draws parallels between this administration and dictatorships so long as i remain non-violent when I do it.

plus my positions against fascism are largely shaped by the scapegoating and lies of regimes, particularly the Jews, LGBT, Gypsies, and Bolsheviks during the Holocaust, and it revolves around drawing attention to it when I see "mass demonization"  parallels in Modern society.  Which i see happening now. And blood also works in my favor too. 

And I'm trying the benefit of doubt thing.

Technically, "No Kings," a march I PROUDLY participated in could be deemed antifascist. Especially if there were some with flags, and there were. And while it's exactly like this administration to exploit that loophole, I have received assurances that will not happen. They are about constitutional rights to free expression. 

But if it does, what do assurances matter then?

Well the good news is it's still technically illegal to crack down on peaceful protests, "official" terrorist designation or no. The hope might be that far right activists take matters into their own hands and we get more violent clashes. Then Trump can use that to call some kind of emergency and expand his constitutional powers.

A lot of right-wing people watch WW2 documentaries (the History Channel viewer statisticical demographics would attest to that) and despite the millions of people that were shot to death, they are still right-wing.

Some even collect the uniforms, badges, weapons and flags of the extreme right-wing faction.
