MAGA want a state that is all under one all-powerful executive organization, with all power concentrated in a single leader, who himself is entirely above the law, and with no seperation of powers as impediment against their authority.

The US was founded in the powers of individual states and the separation of powers between church and state and between the branches of government. MAGA opposes those founding principals and is Fascist in the sense of the principles behind the Italian Fascist party and the German Democratic Socialist Party (NAZI).

It's weird because Christian nationalism and MAGA just don't seem to jive together. Even MAGA are having a civil war among themselves.

Apropo of your post, I am an Australian citizen permanently resident in New Zealand.

Neither of which are police states that incarcerate a good chunk of population. They have freedom under the law just because they do, they don't have to chant about it all the time to believe it.
