Charlie Kirk shot at an event in Utah

I'll quite happily admit that both sides experience problems with extremism and perpetrate violent attacks.

But the statistics and history can't be ignored.

Some elements of the LA protests may have involved planning, that doesn't automatically make them terrorist actions.

The LA unrest largely involved scattered violence, looting, and vandalism.

As far as i can establish, there was no coordinated plot targeting specific political objectives.

Just to point out, i don't condone any of the extremist violent attacks or looting and vandalism, no matter which side it happens to land.

Odd indeed.

As to smart, well, the silly communications with his partner, which have come to light, suggest otherwise.

Unless he wanted to get caught(a lot of them do subconsciously or otherwise).

I think he was lucky, especially so to have gotten away.

From on of your three links?

According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, the Aryan Circle is a race-based and violent prison gang with members operating throughout the country, both inside and outside of prisons.

Who gets to label prison gangs as right or left.  What if they vote socialist democrat?
Just because it is speech you dislike, or don't agree with, does not make it hate speech.

Charlie Kirk never vilified, sought to humiliate, or incited violence against anyone. He used his words to express the beliefs he held. Just as those, that silenced him and all those like him, used their hatred for freedom of speech to silence the speech they did not like.

What a lot of tripe.

And i think you may find the tattoos members of prison gangs display show where their allegiances lie, especially so where the likes of the Aryan Brotherhood are concerned.

They label themselves repeatedly so.

Also, it's my understanding that prisoners currently serving time in most states cannot vote, so.....

That’s what bugs me about Bondi’s announcement.

For one, I find it disrespectful to him to say it in his name when it was the antithesis of what he often said.

Two, it makes the hateful person who killed him win, in two ways. Way one, get hate speech back on the menu when there’s literally no law for it. The other way is it discredits all the push back against other forms of hate speech.

Its incredibly miscalculated IMO.

The glaring part missing in this is everything after 2020.  The explosion of trans/lgbt violence obviously left out. 2016 is another glaring example. Pulse nightclub - radical gay shoots up 49 people.  The presentation of the data is grossly misleading at best.  This is an example of ADL cherry-picking what constitutes 'violent acts', and presenting it all in the most misleading way.

Yes, historically right-wing extremists were lumped as the shooters, but going back as far as Columbine there has been a trend (gay antifa shooters) that implied 'automatic weapons == right wing".  The newer trend is disaffected lgbt.

You can argue all you want, but either half the US was psychic in predicting a leftist pro-trans linked agenda, or there's an acutal trend. Which is it? Psychic?

That pulse nightclub shooting was done by an Islamic jihadi.
"You kill innocent women and children by doing us [sic] airstrikes. Now taste the Islamic state vengeance."

The shooters target was Disney world but there were too many cops there so he went to the nightclub instead because as he drive by it looked like a soft target.
He didn’t target gays and he didn’t target Latinos. It was Latin night at the club.

“the FBI had still declined to classify it as a hate crime, and the prosecution said it had never contemplated arguing Mateen had targeted homosexuals.”

What announcement from Bondi are we looking here? I might have missed the one you are referring to

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

I think I know what you mean. I am sure the majority of people are a reasonable centre-minded type, or even anti politics like I try to be, but if I get your drift, the 'outside' labels everyone and pushes them into a left right box, even if its inaccurate.
Two things...
Robinson told his boyfriend to destroy the letter ("look under your keyboard")...and we know the FBI only has a facsimile of the letter.

This means the boyfriend actually DID destroy the original letter...as per the shooter's instruction.
