Not one of the discord channels I’m a part of has anything that would be viewed as more extreme than here.

I have some stock trading groups and a couple of gaming groups. It’s like anything though I imagine, you can find what you’re looking for. Just like there are people on twitter who could say things (no matter the political climate) people will find offensive, or any place you can make chat groups.

That doesn’t make all of discord extremist, hell, it’s more tame than telegram… but not all of telegram is extremist either, I use that for cryptocurrency groups, but there are people who use it for far more nefarious purposes.

Not making fun, but certainly observing he was so far gone he couldn't tie his own shoes and some people were ready to put him right back in office. I believe there is a far cry between bladder control issues vs dementia.

Facebook had a trafficking problem too… but I’d be willing to bet 99% of all users never used the service for a crime.

Any form of communication could be used nefariously. Walkie talkies can be used in a crime.

A Discord spokesperson tells TMZ ... "In the course of our investigation, we identified a Discord account associated with the suspect, but have found no evidence that the suspect planned this incident or promoted violence on Discord."

The statement goes on ... "The messages referenced in recent reporting about planning details do not appear to be Discord messages. These were communications between the suspect's roommate and a friend after the shooting, where the roommate was recounting the contents of a note the suspect had left elsewhere."

Authorities say Robinson's roommate showed them Robinson had made "a joke" on Discord and then showed investigators the messages, which included "'Tyler' stating a need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle in a bush ... and a message referring to having left the rifle wrapped in a towel." Discord seems to be saying these communications were not on its platform ... rather on a note that Robinson had written, off the site, to his roommate.

BTW ... Discord says it has removed Robinson's account.

ETA - To be fair, I don't watch political speeches from either side. If I wanted to watch someone shoveling bullshit, I'd just go to a local farm.

Yes, he rambles.   He bloviates.  He goes off topic.  Then comes back to the topic.   

No, it's not cognitive decline.   He has ALWAYS been like this.   Looking at tapes of him running in 2015 you can see it.  Looking at the Oprah interview tape of 2008 you can see it.   This is him.

If this was 'cognitive decline' he would not have been acting this way since at least 2008, and you would see marked decrease in his cognition since 2008 and 2015.   But you don't.   He'd be a vegetable by now.  But he's not.  He is saying the exact same things as he did 20 years ago and acting the exact same way.

It's not cognitive decline.  It's just him being what he's always been.
