Im sure they did a fine job hiding people, thats not their only job.... major kudos to the officer with just his service revolver left coverage and engaged the shooter dozens of meters away 

but it seemingly took long AF to engage both shooters. Hell the father had to fight through and kill 3 pedestrians BEFORE he retreated to the bridge where his son was shooting people left and right

Are they getting a bit lazy and making these false flags a bit too sloppy to look like they are organic? the same old actors turn up each time, which makes one think it is a small tight unit doing the planning and execution. ? How Many “Coincidences” Are We Supposed to Ignore?!

With the police response, it is common practice for the police to rally to a near by location first before going into a potentially dangerous incident. This is so they can hit with number as an overwhelming force when required.

At the moment there are calls for a Royal commission to look into the specific details of who done what and how can policy be improved. There was no Royal Commission after Port Arthur, not even a Coronal Inquest to establish the facts on that one.

The ISIS links to the Father and Son shooters is one lead under investigation. They did have a recent trip to the Philippines. As for what ISIS really is? The media paint it a bunch of Islamic terrorists. But what is really going on as people like John McCain make deals with them? How ISIS appears to have a lot of similar enemies as Israel? Like what is going on in Syria is one example does paint an entangled mess thick in the deceptions of war.

Arsen Ostrovsky is one at that event getting a lot of controversy at the moment. I don't know. If there really was a make shift make up studio set up that day, there will be more evidence of it. Seams like risky thing to stage to be on the ground as some mad men starts shooting anything that moves, already a lot of blood around and don't know what it achieves to plan a blood soaked selfie?

It does come across as a bit strange to dress a wound without cleaning it up first. What kind of scar and injury did Arsen get? Is that all of his blood or is some from someone else?

How Arsen survived the covert Israel response on Oct 7 while the main force was on stand down for about 8 hours, maybe luck, maybe connections?

It took 5-6 minutes for how many officers to neutralize the 2 suspects?  The Bondi Police station is 2-4 blocks away at most

What does how long an officer was on the job have to do with Sydney's PD overall response?

I have no doubt most officers did as they were trained to do. It's not about an individual 

I recall a video of a hostage situation in suburban America, the suspect had a hostage was firing wildly or pointing it at the hostage's head in the middle of the road

I thought the victim shot by police in the Manchester Synagogue shooting would have been discussed more on this site.  Still couldn’t imagine being the officer and how they feel where a victim of the attacked died from their error.  

He died on Thursday after being accidentally shot by police responding to the attack at Heaton Park Shul. Daulby and other worshippers prevented Jihad al-Shamie from breaking into the synagogue after Shamie rammed his car into the gate.

With the current trend, officers are going to need to be ready and trained for these situations.

Sydney PD doesn't have rifles and shotguns? At the ready?

They do have them, but usually not for the average copper on the beat. Hand gun, tazer, pepper spray are common kit. Long arms more common in the country or when doing a big raid.

During the height of the covid crazy, where a few more police going around with assault rifles. It has been a bit over the top for a disarmed population to feel like living in a war zone. It has been good to live in a place with that luxury.

As for what policy changes come of this, the politicians are quick to push for tighter gun regulations. For how the future goes on enchanted kit options for police, maybe?
