Having trained with NODs in the Army the video does not look like proper night vision- it is way too bright and washed out.  And also it looks like the background is too stable. 
This whole thing is silly. 
Reminds me of someone designing an egg drop device for school -remember those competitions? 
I did like the English footage of the egg thing on the tarmac of the airport.

Those don't look Egyptian. Definitely some type of symbols. Looks closer to Sanskrit. But I'm no expert.
