Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been ordered to appear in front of Congress to explain his links to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee sent the disgraced royal a letter on Thursday saying they believe he possesses important information about people with links to the late financier's crimes.
It read: 'The Oversight Committee will investigate allegations of abuse by Mountbatten Windsor, and will seek information on Epstein's operations, network, and associates based on the men's longstanding and well-documented friendship.'
Robert Garcia, the most senior Democratic figure on the committee, added: 'Rich and powerful men have evaded justice for far too long.
'Now, former Prince Andrew has the opportunity to come clean and provide justice for the survivors.'

Can the American congress order a foreigner to appear before them?
I don't think they have any power to enforce it.
The POTUS could put pressure on the gov't of England to make sure he appeared.
But since Trump is semi-implicated in the Epstein thing, I doubt he will.

The US can call anyone, the crimes were alleged committed on US territory annd his mummy is no longer around to protect him...

that doesnt mean he HAS to appear, he could still hide out with Roman Polanski and nothing will happen.

Its in his best interests to appear, but he is not a smart man, and his legal team will likely be pro-bono, not high end  silks (lawyers).

Charles is not protecting him, and the "household" want no bar of him, his best option of going to Africa and building hospitals has past. He cant stay in England, and if the US are offering free accommodation in "club fed", well thats really not up to me to judge?.
