Oh! Yes! I see the candle now...
Thank you for that info.

So let me get this straight. The 2D ghost walks on the ground and then somehow also walks over the glass of the candle that is on the wall

The glass candle is positioned close to the camera, sitting on a ledge, and it has a metal handle. You can clearly see the figure pass behind the glass. The glass distorts its shape, and as it moves past the candle’s metal handle, part of the figure gets blocked from view... because it’s metal, lol. That tells us the figure is physically present in the scene and occupying 3D space. Whatever it is, there’s clearly something creepy moving in that driveway.

I think it is fake. it's hight probably about the size of that SUV wheel...and the figure appears out of nowhere...we don't see it visible passing behind the fence openings. One might say it is a shadow area right behind the fence but the pavement and SUVs molding on a rocker panel is reflecting light, so, no shadow area.
for fakers it is very hard to fake those detail that would look realistic. another thing, the being lacks any texture to it, like bone or muscule outlines...just flat figure moving in cartoonish manner as Sirius pointed out. my 2 cents. :)

The camera is mounted high and angled downward, so the shadows it captures wouldn’t behave the same way as a ground level shot. You can actually see shadows cast on the figure from the porch light and the ledge, which makes sense given the camera’s downward angle. The figure appearing out of nowhere is strange... almost paranormal. There’s a spike in light intensity, the camera pixelates slightly from the lighting, and that buzzing sound hits right before it shows up. It could be some kind of power surge… and then we see it (alien shape)... maybe smoke... or dare I say, something ghost like. ; ) If it's fake... then someone went overboard on the environment... and the gaited walk.

Seeing this with freshish eyes, I think the biggest giveaway that it's fake are the video artefacts (26 secs. into the video) just before the thing comes into view.
Up to that point, the video has a pretty good resolution. I know YouTube's video compression can degrade video, but why only at that point... fishy.

Maybe the camera doesn’t have surge protection… or it’s on a weak WiFi connection and we’re seeing some ghosting. Bright lights and power surges can definitely cause pixel artifacts on a cheap camera sensor. Not saying it’s paranormal... but if it isn’t, someone went out of their way to make it feel like it is. Some of the smaller details make it hard to just dismiss outright.

Video compression has nothing to do with this...just like you suspected, imo. |
